Fri. 4/10 - Lakers @ Portland - Predictions & Comments

It's alright guys, we'll still come out strong in the Playoffs, even if we don't get Home Court throughout. Plus the way the Magic play Cleveland, they themselves might not make it to the Finals.

Wow, we failed to execute down the stretch ...

but the refs were ATROCIOUS. The second half was so incredibly biased

It's not even the number of calls, it's the inconsistency of it ... we would get called for light contact while the refs would allow the Blazers to mug us on & off the ball.

Disgusting. I'm not sure I want the Lakers to play them in the playoffs if the officials are going to let the crowd influence them like that.

At least we'll have home court.

I refuse to take a hard stand against the referring because the Lakers got a lot of help on their own court.

Kobe lost it for us with his erratic decision making on two tough three's and throwing the ball away.

But half of it also goes to bad coaching by Kurt Rambis. We need a two Kurt and we have Pau on the team, a good post presence, and we have a three point sniper in Sasha and Shannon Brown who was hot from three point land if he wanted to go for a three.

So guys, exactly what are the chances that we play these a-holes in the playoffs?

This team matches up with us so well.

Once again Luke, Fisher, Jordan couldn't help at all.

I am not confident the Lakers can beat Portland in a series. They are younger, more athletic, and their guards (other than Kobe) are miles better.

Bigger picture -- if Cleveland wins the East, they are champs.

sorry -- 2 --3 --2 sucks. The Lakers will be lucky to win ONE in Cle. And they will not win all 3 at home in the middle. I love the Lakers. But my prediction is Cleveland in 7.

The refs have been terrible, yes.

But I´m sick of this kobe ball all the time. Where´s the ball movement down the stretch?

Dude, the blazers CANNOT win in LA...that is almost guaranteed

and if its cleveland in the finals, i know we can steal one of the first two and close it out in 5

and if its boston i see us winning in 6
