Fri. 1/28 - Lakers vs Queens - Predictions & Comments

Kobe having these god mode nights is so often a mixed blessing. I feel like the team kind of wimps out when they feel that Kobe is carrying them. Hope that the rest of the team can pick it up, particularly in the rebounding department.

I never wish injury on anyone, but I'm glad Kobe fouled Cousins hard in the face. :jam2:
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

Maybe once someone other than Kobe and Drew shows up, the Lakers will turn this into a route.

LOL. Kobe has a decent scoring game and the Team Ball Illuminati starts yelling bloody murder.

I guess the bigs will start playing D if Kobe gets them more involved in the scoring, right?

Anyone else think Pau looks sorta lost out there tonight? Really uncomfortable looking, seemingly rushing it on O.

That's all about chemistry and we hope they learn it real quick... Phil is only the container into which he pours the coolaid...

Kobe was incredible in the first half, 10-14 FG is about 71%

Our defense needs to pick up.

He sat out for more than 7.5 minutes of that half. And he's the only guy with a positive +/- for the Lakers.

Even on the few touches that Drew got he got away with a couple of three second violations. And when he wasn't camping in the lane, he was shuffling his pivot feet on his fakes. He scored some buckets, but his footwork is pedestrian stuff (pun intended).

Yes. He's playing well below his ability.

Yes. He's also not done a good job on Cousins (who is on fire, to be fair).

We need to slow down the pace. This is the kind of style that got our ** beat by Miami.

Lucky that we have Kobe, he took care of the problem for us.

Cousins is on fire. Nothing you can do about that. He hit 2 highly contested shots on Bynum. Bynum should play him closer though. Bynum has the length to counter the drive.

We'll see...

They're able to push the pace because of our turnovers and bad D. Once we take care of those things, the tempo should be more to our liking.

I don't like Courtside Live. I'm not at the game, so I'd rather see a regular broadcast.

I like the Courtside view....it's not optimal for seeing the action over the whole court though.

Cousins have to be psyched about playing against Bynum tonight. 22 pts in the first half.

That's game.

This might be the worst game -- and the worst defensive effort this season.

They don't even care.

Pathetic.
