Now this'll be a tough game. Houston is definitely due for a win, and the Lakers are sort of picking themselves off the ground right now.

I think this'll be determined in the first few minutes. If Kobe comes out like the reigning MVP, if Lamar is looking to attack, if Pau gets recharged : Laker win. But this could easily be a loss.

^ Atleast they're playing the Suns tonight. That should wear then down a bit.

Two days rest should make it fine for them. I mean shoot, the Lakers are flying home today from across the country after playing a game, I'd say that's more tiring.

I expect a loss here as well...altho getting back home might be a good thing for the bench.

I am hoping that being at home, and seeing that the Cavs lost, will re-energize the lakers. That said, they will probably know before they start whether the Cavs lost again to the Magic. If the Cavs are losing or lost, a fire better be lit. If the Cavs win on the road at Orlando, that could defelate the Lakers.

Don't tell me they are not scoreboard watching.

All that psycho babble aside, I hope Kobe is truly out of his funk and has some energy. The Rockets have plenty of good defensive players to throw at Kobe, so he needs to play smart, pass out of double teams, and play D on Battier (no open 3s) and keep Ron from slashing (make him a chucker).

Brooks will blow by Fish and Jordan all night. Nothing we can do about that.

The way to beat the Rockets -- Exhibit A from Suns, MAKE YAO RUN. Ariza and LO and Jordan need to push things after misses.

We should beat them fairly easily, they did lose to the freakin Suns a day ago. Let's sweep these punks and hopefully make up some ground on the Cavs. Come on Lakers!!!!!

Kobe needs to be that facilitator Kobe early, get his team feeling good and into it. not take Ron and Battier personally and force up fade-away jumpers, etc.

MUST WIN with the Cavs getting owned tonight. Hope the crowd realizes it and really pumps the Lakers up tonight.

A win, and the Cavs feel even more pressure with SA, Philly, and Boston coming up.

Let's get this tonight. Go into the playoffs on a positive roll.
