I never thought we could sniff .500 on the road since our disastrous road start, but looks like we have a chance! :jam2:

Going to this game. Kobe should be out there. Lakers just get embarrassed so I expect a much better performance.

With Leonard likely on Kobe , it's key for MWP to abuse Green in the post ... I expect Drew to be defensively dominant too

Kobe will torch Leonard. Brethren today is the day we show the league why you don't want to see us in the playoffs. I just hope Kobe isn't rusty which I don't he will be.

Time to go for the throat.

I could care less about our offense, although when it falters, our transition D falls apart mainly because our bigs stop running.. We NEED Drew to get up for this game and not let inconsistent touches, questionable play by teammates or bricks get to him. More often than not, when he doesn't get a touch early in the set, we end up jacking up a bad shot, and whether warranted or not, Drew wears his frustration on his sleeve... and feet. He occasionally pauses in disgust for a split-second, and instead of hussling back, is now behind the play just enough for his man to leak out. He's gotten better since Kobe went out, obviously, but still has lapses.

This needs to end ASAP. I love him and have been a huge advocate of his, asking fans for patience with the injuries, but he needs to get over this latest challenge - a little bit of humility. He's working on it, but we need it all the time. We get that, and we get the BEST center in the league... one who can get back on the break all the time just because he's thinking ahead a bit.

The good news -- he's got a shot to make up for the last display of transition and perimeter D against TD and the Spurs. He'll get up for this one.

Now we just need Sessions going OVER the pick instead of giving Tony open 15-footers :man2: :man2:

Needless to say, pretty darn big game tonight. Obviously we need to show up this time, just like last time we were there.

Kobe's supposedly back, that's great news. Hopefully he's not too rusty and the team will adapt to him back in the lineup. The directive should still be the same - get the ball inside and exploit our size advantage. Get Duncan in foul trouble if he goes up against Bynum.

SAS got wise to the Lakers' letting Parker shoot. First time it worked, second time it didn't. Sessions should try to play up on him more. Whether it was by design or not, it wasn't effective last game.

Play hard. Our team is better.

Kobe needs to get with the chemistry of the team and not disturb it by going iso and taking all those shots. He needs to feed the bigs on a regular basis and they need to make it happen. SAS put it all out there the other day and have to agree if Kobe ends up with the ball with time about gone on the 24, of course he will shoot. My guess tonight is they will make it happen and win w/o Kobe taking a ton of shots.

They made their "statement" on our home court.... can we answer?

They couldn't have played a much better game... I don't think they can bring that kind of shooting again.

Transition D is important but the Pick and Roll will decide this game. Let's hope Kobe brings the "x" factor and we can get out of the Alamo with a Win....

Don't come in here with that stuff unless you've got a final score....... :man1:
