Gasol scoring, Lamar rebounding, Barnes and Blake bringing good energy off the bench. I think the Suns do not have a chance except if we do something extremely stupid in the 2nd half. They are simply outmatched here.

Fisher might have made that three, but a good part of that late run by the Suns was thanks to his selfish play. I love it when he ignores Kobe for the patented Fisher blown layup on the fastbreak.

And our defense is painful to watch at times....just keep giving Penix wide open look after wide open look.

I hope Blake will be on the floor in the clutch this season ... the way he runs the offense and his defense are way superior to Fish who keeps chucking long Js ( don't care if he makes them , it is just stupid shots ) instead of exploiting the weak Suns post D

I agree. And I can't stand it when he comes down and takes a shot (17-18 footer) early in the shot clock and no one else touches the ball. Those long rebounds allow Phoenix to run thus playing into their tempo. It drives me bananas!

Pau might be nailing those mid range Js right now, but I don't want him to fall in love with that shot, because sooner or later it'll stop falling. The Lakers as a whole need to do a bit better in terms of interior passing and cutting to the hoop. There's a little too much standing around going on.
