Is anyone else's stomach hurting? That was the most stress I've been under watching a Laker game in a LONG time.

Youthful mistake by the Thunder.

They stood in awe watching Kobe's shot instead of going after the rebound.

And good riddance to the refs.

hell no, good riddance

I don't feel sorry for OKC at all. Their team has a great future. But right now belongs to the Lakers! :jam2:

There is no feeling sorry for a team that got almost 3x as many free throws on their home floor(combined for the series) as their opponent.

I absolutely hate Westbrook/Ibaka and Durant is an NBA product , manufactured on the FT line

Durant is a good kid. But he is protected, that much is certain. I'm okay with it for now, as long as it doesn't get to his head like Lebron. (and so long as he never beats the Lakers in the postseason)

I think Jordan Pharmar needs glasses. Some of his shots were off the charts...

Playoff basketball baby. OKC stuck it out though. I'll give them that. What I do have a problem with however are the discrepancies in foul calls on both sides of the floor. If you're gonna be calling little b**ch fouls on one end, then be fair and do it on the other end. Yes LA made a few careless plays down the stretch that ended up in them giving up a 7 point lead, but in the end, it came down to big players making big plays. Pau blows a hook shot by quite a bit but redeems himself in a big way with a huge put back. Gasol and Bynum weren't feeling it early but Kobe stepped up. The BENCH stepped up BIG, especially Shannon Brown. Artest made as many stupid plays on offense as he did great ones which effectively cancelled each other out (and almost cost the team the game), but his defense on Durant was great as was evidenced by KD's horrible shooting from the field. Odom came away with some huge defensive stops and rebounds late in the 4th.

Love that the Lakers never quit even when they made some costly mistakes. They stuck with it all the way until the end instead of giving up early and planning for a Game 7. The refereeing though, awful. The lack of consistency in the whistles is staggering. I understand that the Lakers were taking more jumpers this time around as opposed to driving aggressively, but you can't give Durant ticky tack fouls and not do the same for Kobe. All in all, not a perfect game, but a great playoff game. The Lakers made mistakes, but they remained tough and did what was necessary down the stretch.
