This is a just win game. Lose this game and we get swept. Win and we can still make this a series.

Defend home court. OKC doesn’t have to win at Staples. Game’s 5 and 7 are back in Hickville.

Just defend home court. Don't get punked on your own court.

If they don't win the series, I want it to be because we lost on the road, not because we couldn't win at home.

Backdoor sweep on these fools. :jam2:

OKC did what they had to do which was protect their home court. We just need to do the same.

A must win. If we defend our home court at least we can make this a series.

I'm going to go out on a limb again. This will be a Lakers blowout victory and the start of a comeback from a 2-0 series deficit, just like in 2004 when the Lakers beat the Spurs in the West semis. To quote Arsenio Hall's preacher from Coming to America: "If I'm wrong, I don't want to be right!"
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

Well now we wouldn't want to have a big lead with 2 minutes to go and lose by 2 now, would we? :man9:

All the Thunder did was hold their home court advantage, which they did as expected. If Lakers hold their own for the next two games, then anything can happen. It's an exciting time to be a Lakers fan!
Expect the best but prepare for the wost.

Lakers are going to take this series in 6 games. :man1:

Why do people have a problem with that last play in game 2? Kobe was clearly struggling to get free and Blake was wide open for the corner 3. No timeouts left so Artest made the right decision.

Lakers have to win the next 4 out of 5. Well, one game at a time. Let's get this one and see what happens...

I agree. It's too bad Kobe couldn't get free and Blake missed the shot. My main beef is with the plays that happened before that, especially when Kobe tried to inbound the ball to Pau and KD stole it. It was a lazy pass and it should have been thrown higher.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

My optimism about this game is that the Game 2 loss typified what we have come to expect from this team in that they played very good defense in the second half but their offense was miserable AND it was a road game.

The other thing we have seen this season is that the team's offense at the Staples Center tends to be significantly better without the defense being any worse. Granted, some of OKCs scoring issues in Game 2 had nothing to do with the Lakers offense, but still, I think that so long as the Lakers remember to play both sides of the floor they can win this one. Obviously this is the must-win game. Game 2 was basically must-win as well.

okc offense wont be that bad again this series. plus refs really got harden out of the game...ya they called quick fouls on us but against role players not our big3.

if harden is playing the whole first half were screwed bc hell get going vs being in foul trouble.

Whatever happens, the Lakers have to play well at both ends. It's a must-win game. However, I have a feeling the Thunder will be in foul trouble tonight. I believe the NBA wants this series to last at least six games, and David Stern will be at tonight's game to "make sure" it does.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.
