Deron Williams - “I hate ’em, you know,” he said the other day. “I hate the Lakers. They’re so good. I hate them because they win all the time. They’re a tough team. … We definitely talk about it. It’s not a secret. We hate the Lakers.”

That turned out to be a really fun game, looking forward to the regular season now. We cruised through preseason, when our guys actually try we're gonna win a ton of games.

Lee is playing C as well. ABout the same height.

Lee is 6'10, 3 inches on Ron. But whatever, ron seals it!

I thought he was 6'8-6'9... Either way, Lee is bigger, and Ron did well against him, on both ends.

I'm glad we ended the preseason on a positive note.

Good precursor to ring night. :jam2:

Even though the bench didn't score alot, they played awesome. Sasha knocking down shots, Ebanks/Caracter giving us energy, Matt's all over the place, and Steve (although 0-5) making plays for our guys and running the offense. Great job.

That game was nuts ... :man10:

From Kobe magically coming alive down the stretch to Shannon being clutch to Ron playing Center and being clutch.

The Monta Ellis dunk was pretty wild too.

Glad we won. On to the regular season. I hope Kobe finds his stroke again.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Kobe will be fine....I am liking how he's moving....he looks like he's back to almost normal. The shot will take some time to get back....but with Kobe, I'm never worried.

Weird rotations from Shaw.....first bringing back the starters after the bench got the lead, then pulling them in the middle of OT.

Kudos to the bench though...they played really well, much better than the starters.

:jam2: Got some great contribution from the rooks
Can you guys do anything to free you up off of him or make some adjustments for next game?

^^^ This all day. Basically Luke should get a gig as Laker assistant coach and also focus on his restaurants where his true interests lie. This playing basketball thing is no longer in the cards for him.

Bench came through big time tonight where some of the starters were struggling (ie Pau all game, and Kobe for much of it).

Ron was just outstanding, he was the true floor leader out there. Loved his drives and kicks! Barnes is bringing great stuff and I like when both he and Ron are out there at the same time. We might not see so much of that but they play well together and the D is swarming and so tough with those guys together on the floor. Props to the rookies, props Blake and Brown. Glad Kobe was able to redeem himself with some clutch shots and plays.

I know Gasol is trying to save himself and not get hurt, but once again he played like garbage. Hard for me to see it.
