Ha. Going for the jugular.
Pau Gasol yesterday morning when asked about Dwight Howard: "I haven't called. Calls are expensive."

I'm not sure if I should be glad -- or sad -- because of this but...

Matt Barnes is better then Artest at this point. I'm not sure why that is. I have a weird feeling something's wrong with Ron lately.

I think it's fair to say that we've been toying with them from the jumpball.

:man10:

Look dude Barnes has played great, but there is no way in hell he's a better player than Artest.

Nah, Ron was awful last year too.

It's a matchup based question. In some cases (defense on elite threes), Artest is clearly better

I agree. He's not a better player, but lately it looks like it. And I'm trying to figure our why. Because Artest should be able to do everything Barnes is doing now -- and play even stronger D.

In the meantime:

OKC is beating Boston, and they are playing without Durant.

Pau is so awful today. It's like him and Darko switched bodies.

Apparently our starters don't want to play tonight. Only the Killer B's seem to bring any energy.

Artest is a better player one on one but Matt is the better tri fit. He has a higher BBIQ, he's a better passer, a better cutter and he hustles under the basket for boards. He's the dirty work player that LA sometimes needs on the floor. When LA needs an elite defender to put on the opposition's #1 option though, Ron is definitely still that guy...although I have no idea why he's chasing Beasley UNDER screens right now.
