Those 3s don't change the fact that Kobe had a terrible half. No D, poor shooting, and poor passing.

Still, he's very special. Missing all those shots from the start and sinking 2 3s to end the first half.
Fortunately, he's Kobe. No other player on this team would be allowed to do that.

Kobe's earned himself the right have some bad halves....excuses or not. He's taking shots he normally makes, and he's trying to make tough passes in traffic.

Yet another game where we have a distinct advantage in the paint and we still have our perimeter players jacking up shot after shot.

Kobe doesn't have any lift or quickness and whether it's the ankle or the knee he needs to recognize that and lead the team in other ways.

Lakers know Boston, Dallas & Chicago all lost tonight... They will be focused in the 2nd half.

He's great, just not in this game (so far).
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

Also credit Wes Johnson with playing well against him.

Lakers are playing out of style tonite. They need to step up defensively and control the board first.

They were sleepwalking for much of the game. I'm sure they'll do better and win.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

Minny is packing the paint, and Kurt knows all the key Tri actions....it's no wonder that every game against Minny is always a grind. The simplistic "dump it into the bigs" isn't going to solve the problem.

True. The one blowout we had against them this season was when Matt went off on them.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

In the 11 games since the break Kobe has shot above 46% twice and 5 times at 40% or below. Only one of those games did he shoot above 50%. Even without the ankle his shooting has suffered since the break. I hope something else isn't wrong.

Kobes ankle is clearly bothering him.

Most of his shots have been short and he's getting no lift :bang:

Hope his shots start falling in the 2nd half.

I've seen Kobe, Ron and Fisher jack up contested shots right in front of an open Andrew at least 4 times. We should at least go inside out if we are going to shoot from the outside.

I'm pretty sure that three busted up fingers and a severe lack of cartilage in your knee isn't helping anything. Don't worry he's still not human.

Gasol scoring like a man possessed. We need his offense.
