A balanced scoring effort and solid defense led L.A. to a 104-88 win in Orlando on Friday. Kobe Bryant scored 21 and added nine assists, and Chris Mihm scored 20 on 8-for-9 shooting. The Lakers, who held the Magic to just 40 percent shooting, take on the Heat on Christmas Day at noon.

Nothing really to say other than can't get past the unreal performance from Kobe Tuesday:

franchise record for most points in a quarter (30)

6th most points scored in a game by a Laker

Dont under-estimate the Magic!!!

Theyve been playing better recently. Have to watch out for Deshawn Stevenson. Hes been playing like a star as of late. And of course Grant Hill and Dwight Howard.

Only thing I hope doesnt happen, is if everyone on the team starts relying soley on Kobe again. Im sure Magic will have a plan on Kobe. Odom HAS to show up. 2 dissapearing acts in a row. And most importanbtly, Chris Mihm, watch out for the Stevie-facial. :mhihi:

Orlando is dangerous but 5-7 at home. We should win this one

yeah..the magic have been playing well.......pssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh

they lost to the raptors, AT HOME.

as long as we dont go into orlando thinking we're going to blow them out, we'll win. kobe will be at the top of his game. for God's sake LO needs to get it going sometime. might as well be against the magic. chris mihm, lamar odom, brian cook....for God's sake....show up! :man2:

I'm in TX...and the Lakers game wasn't on last night. I considered going to this cool bar to watch the game b/c I knew it would be on. Then I remembered watching the Finals against the Pistons at the same bar and how all the patrons there hated the Lakers. I decided against going to see the game. Stupid decision. Would have loved to see Kobe shut up everyone on the place. :man6:

He's going to coast a bit tonight, score 33, and he'll bring it again on Xmas.
