FYI: Kobe will be in court that day for some hearing on his civil case.

Good news: Kobe usually plays better when he comes back from court. :man1:

Remember game six against the Rockets in last year's playoffs... his "last" court appearance as well as the Rockets "last" court appearance :man1:

Also where is the civil trial being held? Is it in Colorado or Cali?

Kobe Case News:
ABC News: Lawyers for the woman accusing Kobe Bryant of rape will get their first chance to question him under oath when they meet the NBA star Friday in Los Angeles.

L. Lin Wood and John Clune will meet with the Lakers guard in Orange County for a seven-hour session, the attorneys said Wednesday. Bryant spoke with sheriff's deputies the night after the June 2003 incident, but this week will be the first time since the 20-year-old woman accused him of attacking her that he will be sworn to tell the truth.

"Federal rules allow me to ask any question relevant to the claims or defenses in the case," Wood said.

Ok Pegasuskid and Kobe6962, you're on. How about a week long thing, post up your new caption in your sig starting Sunday Feb 27 to Sunday Mar 6?

And you can start thinking about what you want for my caption right now (tho it ain't happening :man1: )...but we'll decide after the game so we can figure out what material to add.

Anyone else in?

Lakers win. Kobe coming out of court so blowout game for him. I just know it. 5game winning streak is about to end for the pistons and Lakers win 4 in a row.

If I can find a taker, I will make the same deal with this fan, I made with Gwhiz earlier this season.

If anyone chooses to accept this:

I will change my avatar to a Lakers' player (and a sig if someone has a design I could use), write a glowing post about that player, and keep this as my profile for a week.

That's if the Lakers win.

If the Pistons win, you have to do the same.

The avatar and optional sig have to be up on the profile by 12:00 AM PST on January 27, 2005.

Any takers?
With expectation comes responsibility. Respect is earned. When opportunity arises, preparation will calm nerves, inspire confidence, and help you to realize the moment. Where there is failure is a blueprint of how to improve. To fail to learn, even with talent, makes you ordinary. To learn from all experiences is to learn to become the best.

pistons by double fiqures. Most likely around 12-14 points. Don't see how people actually think we have a chance to win this one.

:man9: Lakers are 4-0 when he plays after court appearences and every time he turned in a stellar performence.
