oh, either Lebron, Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson, or some other guy whose never won an NBA title.
You should do a better job reading. Its about the best player, not the best team
I hope you're joking.
If not, I'll just ignore you.
comeon dude. Is KG the best player in the league? MAYBE and he has no title. Thsi argument is inaccurate IMO.
It's just frustrating the way so many guys get anointed "the best" before they ever really even cut their teeth in this league.
Why don't you give me a list of the top ten players to never win an NBA title, and we'll see where they rank on the all-time list of top players?
John Stockton
Karl Malone
Gary Payton
Kevin Garnett
Charles Barkley
Mitch Richmond (as an active player, he wonone with 40 as a 15th man or something in the rotation).
and there are more that I don´t remember in my head. The best player has nothing to do with titles. If so Bill Russell is the greatest of all time with 11 titles.
I do say guys like KG, Malone and others indeed deserved titles but with bad teammates you can´t do much.
Stockton and Malone didn't exactly have bad teammates.
But, they kept falling short for some reason.
Regardless, I'm not saying the best player has to win a title (and you can't find that anywhere in my posts), my point is simply that there are plenty who want to anoint guys like Dwyane Wade as the greatest, even though during his one & only trip on the big stage (with Shaq, nonetheless), he helped choke away a fourth quarter lead and a trip to the NBA Finals.
He may get there someday, but the fact that he choked on his first trip means he's still lacking a big something, which keeps him from being the best.
ok I agree. I didn´t think Wade is close to anything. Even James better show something in the playoffs before being the best.

If he would hit another 3 its the NBA record for all made 3 poiners in a game without a miss. Spree has it with 8-8 in a game.
