yeah we have 1 spark off the bench while there whole bench is a spark. Spurs r too deep, 1-5 better. I hope we win itll be xcited game but i wont be surprised ifwe get blown out

Regardless ofthe outcome it WILL be a long tough night for the Lakers. We are SUPPOSED to lose this game on paper

Im not being realistic but i m being optimistic here in predicting a Laker win by 3.

Kobe keeps pace with Duncan in the pts. department.
Odom chips in 10 + 10(+) rebs. (dbl. dbl.) and causes odd looks for TD
Caron contains Parkers outburst/slash
Barry has an off night vs. our quick perimeter players.
Mihm plays Rasho to a stand still.



Kobe is KOBE in the last 6 minutes of the game. No game winners here just clutch baskets and timely (read LUCKY ) stops.

Finally we meet again! I'm not counting the Lakers out of this one just yet...they will be coming off an embarassing loss so that will motivate them. BUT revenge is an even greater motivator and you just KNOW the Spurs are hungry for it.

My predictions:

Spurs 97 Lakers 88

Duncan: 28 pts, 13 boards
Parker: 16 pts, 5 assists
Gino: 18 pts, 3 steals

Kobe: 32 pts
Odom: 17 pts, 8 boards

My real concern is Parker! We need a great teamdefense! KOBE and Butler have to shut down Gino and usually they both should be able! I hope all the touchfouls of Bowen are called so he would be in trouble!
The Key is to give Duncan quick fouls! If he is in trouble every Spur is!

Odom is going to light TD up

IMO the Lakers will run isolation on TD to allow Odom get on track in the offense. This will get TD in foul trouble and open up the Laker offense. Lakers 93 SA 82 :ball6:

That is a very realistic prediction. I can really imagine that happening. But our spirits are high and I'm hoping for an upset.

This is a easy win for the Spurs, out talent level at this point just does not eqaually match up with the Spurs. It will most likely be a blow. Once Bowen shuts down Kobe, we are screwed. Kobe is great, but he isn't god. He needs help.

this is not a easy game,we are not 2004 Lakers,we don't have Mailman to guard TD,and we don't have Phil here.But,we have more energy,if Odom can play like last year,we get the chance to win,I guess Grant can't guard TD,so Odom is important.Atkins have to face Parker,I think we need some defencse help to stop Parker.Kobe may get double or triple team,our shooting will be one of the key to win.It is hard,but I believe Lakers can do it!!
