If our 2nd unit plays this consistently well, it could be close to a blowout... :man9:

Don't get ur hopes up too high. We're playing San Antonio remember? And if Shaq comes back, then we'll have that inside threat, and if he doesn't, then we'll probably be settling for jump shots. Payton's always the one takin it in strong, and he doesn't always get the calls. Expect that when we play SA. I think it's gonna be a close game, and if we get ahead early in the game, hopefully our bench can keep up the intensity up enough to maintain that lead.

HOME GAME ?

= WIN GAME :jam2: :jam2: :man1: :man1:

I think the starting 5 will play good because it's an important game and if our bench will play like vs Wizards (Rush 14pt, Russel 10pt, Medvedenko 11), this will be 100% win

I'm still sad, we have no more Horry buzzer beaters!!! :man6: :man6:
And tomorrow we'll play against him

Ahh yes, I won't post a predicted score because both of these teams are unpredictable, but like I've said since opening night... I believe we will not lose a game at home this season...

However, this game is going to be WAR

Spurs 95-Lakers 95 overtime

Lakers 101- Spurs 101 another overtime

Lakers 108-Spurs 106 FINAL

oh yeah two overtimes...y'all haven't thought of that right?

I am not ruling out that the Spurs can win at our arena.

LD2K--this game is a war. Agreed.

ShaqFan--Lakers: 121 Spurs: 100 Never thought I'd see the day...

This thing is going to be last year's Yao vs Shaq 1.

Both teams at full strength and hot.

However, no team is hotter then the Lakers. Lakers are averging 104 ppg and the Spurs, 86..

Gonna be a hard game.

Lakers 111-99

stop postin that we'll win by 20 or 30 cuz we WONT ....we BARELY beat tha spurs who were playin without duncan AND parker...in fact we went to double OT with this team and couldnt stop ginobili! I believe we have a great chance of winnin this game, but somethin tells me tha spurs have somethin up their sleeve...but it will be down to tha wire...

13-3....this game is too big for tha lakers to lose! we always step up in BIG games!

What the hell, have some time to post, I need a study break. We outscore in the first, lose badly in second, out score third and finish em off with 5 and change to go in the fourth and rest our starters. They give a slight scare when they get within 9 or so but we finish em off.

PAYBACKS A "DEMI MOORE" oh I mean b...h :man9: :man9:

we gotta win this game... show our laker pride man.. i mean, its a home game, and they can break the record of longest home game streak in staples since a long tym..

and another fact.. its against the spurs!! i mean.. last tym they played, we won, but it wasnt easy. they gav us a hard time without parker and duncan.. we gotta take em down now! cuz the bench is gettin better now, kobe is better now.. every single laker is better now.. this is a must win game... and they will win. :jam2:

But, Fab 4 we are a different team since the last time we played the Spurs.

BTW: Dev. had his shot against Washington, I hope he keeps it up.

We're playing great, but this is the Spurs guys. I mean we really had to dig deep to beat them with out T-D and Parker. I still believe will win, but it will be tight all the way through. Lakers 97-90. Thats if Shaq plays of course. Cause if he don't the Spurs will definately win. Lets GO Lakers!

Either way, whatever the outcome of the game is... this is going to be a war. I believe the Lakers can pull it out because they are all playing superb. It's all going to be about our bench, if they play mediocre we can get the win. They are playing great right now however, so go figure.

This is going to be great, I remember someone made the wallpaper during last year's playoffs, so we mise as well bring it back -- Sweet The Favor On The Spurs

Lakers To Honor Horry Before Tipoff:

Homecoming: The most emotion-soaked minutes of the evening could come before tipoff, when the will Lakers hold a brief ceremony to honor Horry. The team will present him with a framed version of his old No. 5 gold jersey. "That will be the difficult part for me," Fisher said, "is knuckling up against him on our homecourt, after being with him for so many years."

In my heart, I will always remember Horry and what he did so magically for us during the three year run. Even when he missed the shot that could have made it four straight, I still loved him for even being that brave to take such a shot... again! I love ya Horry and I miss you alot... But now you get to see your old Lakers Reloaded at a first hand beating :man1:

I just hope it doesn't distract the Lakers. They need to be ready to go.

It won't distract them at all. The Lakers are just being a class act team that they are and honoring a man who needs to be honored for all he did here in L.A.

I think it's very cool what they're doing and hope they show this tribute live on T.V. because it's going to be really emotional to watch.

Horry will always have purple and gold in his blood no matter what colored jersey he wears...

Horry!!! Horry!!! Horry!!!

L.A.'s Hopes For Tonight:

Time to Recollect
Lakers' pain over loss at home to Spurs in playoffs is still fresh as they meet again here. But circumstances have definitely changed

Malone Develops His Game Plan for Duncan
"They just won it and he's the MVP," Malone said with an enough-said expression. "But, I'm not going into this game just thinking about defense. If he's guarding me, I'm going to make him play me on the offensive end too, and try to take a little away from him. I'm not going to let him have free rein on the defensive end."

Lakers seeking revenge against Spurs
Few events have pulled teardrops down the Lakers' faces in recent seasons. But no other moment has caused a purple-and-gold downpour comparable to the one seen May 15 at Staples Center.

They better show it on TV.

You gotta think FSN will show it if not ESPN.

I hope both will. I'm going to be recording this one on Fox Sports, while watching it on ESPN.
