I asked that a bit earlier. Also, why doesn't Divac play much? Maybe in the future he will play a little bit more. :man3:

Well, we have some time off, don't play again until Wed., maybe we can use that rest to work more on getting inside more and getting Vlade in shape.

I agree, he doesnt get enough credit.

but he has 8 TOs...

6 of them are because of his teammates not knowing how to catch a ball

Kobe had a really ugly triple, he really needs to work on getting less turnovers, getting a better field goal % (will result in more points), and that's basically it.
okay

Time and practice...

He will work on his footwork and timing on shotblocking...

Nice potential though...I know this is gonna get trashed but he plays stiff like TD. If he had TD's smarts, whew...with that range...

I would love to get Vlade to teach these young guys how to pass...

Couple things about the Lakers so far: They're 10-7 now. That projects to 48-34 on the season. That'd be fine by me. They'd be an 8th seed if the season ended today...which isn't terrible.

That said, there cannot be many teams in the NBA who had fewer players return both from their total roster and their starting 5. This is a group who should be able to improve to a greater degree than most other teams. If you've got the same starting 5 that you did last year, you wouldn't expect a lot of improvement from the beginning of the season to the end...but the Lakers SHOULD improve a lot.

If they can win 12 of the first 21 and make gradual but more or less constant improvement, 50 wins isn't out of the question. I'm just trying to put things into perspective. It was an ugly game but they showed some toughness late. Kobe needs to pick up his shooting and the D needs to step it up, too, but there are plenty of positives. Butler? :man4:
