Nice to see the bench come in and extend the lead for once. Well, they played very well last night, too. Hoping we'll end up having this good, deep bench we were supposed to have.

Chucky...go sit down! Missed 3, then fouls Arenas, giving him an and 1. :disagree:

I think it depends on the matchup. If we're playing a really slow guard who can't shoot, Chucky should do fine.

Just goes to show you-- you put Atkins in, Arenas torches us.

Play Tierre Rudy.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Yah, tied at 54 - 54.

When the Lakers play defense they open up a large lead with ease, but the moment they stop playing defense their opponents come back with runs of their own.

All those stats are nice, but Wizards are tied with the Lakers. They really shouldn't be.

Mihm has 0 pts? Wow, I didn't even notice he hadn't scored yet, he usually scores well at home.

Yeah, foul trouble has limited him to 8 minutes.

Well i thought that before, but since I didn't change the channel but I paid attention to the halftime report, I got to hear him speak regarding the most recent trade. He loves that Carter is on NJ. It's an okay move, but NJ gave up size and financial flexibility by getting half man/half injured/half motivated. NJ has some nice athletic swingmen and Kidd(who is hopefully/finally healthy). We'll see though.

Ooh....and I just wanted to say it again.

Mihm could probably average a double-double if he would only stay out of foul trouble. He definitely rebounds well, 5 boards in 8 minutes is fairly solid even considering the small line-up of the Wizards.

At one point, Wiz were down to .44% shooting...they finished the half at 50%.

The Lakers gave up too many layups, we would be blowing Washington out without all the easy layups they got running on us.

They need Mihm to play more than 8 minutes to help limit the lay-ups. It'd also help if Grant or Divac were in better health so they could help clog up the middle with their defense. if Mihm stays in foul trouble expect more lay-ups and easy buckets by the Wiz, he's the key to our interior defense.
