The Lakers won for the seventh time in eight games, riding a 41-point performance from Kobe Bryant to a 97-91 home victory over the Wizards on Friday. Bryant hit on 14-of-24 shots from the field and added eight rebounds. The win was Phil Jackson's 300th of his Lakers' coaching career.

Brown's revenge against Washington starts here...

The great thing is our starts - with the exception of Kwame - rested the entire 4th quarter against the Grizzlies. And our reserves held, and built on the lead the starters created.

Good things to come, we'll return home and all I have to say is one thing: FEED KWAME EARLY AND OFTEN.

But I'm scared fellas... Chucky might murder us [/sarcasim]

The lakers CAN win this game...

I was at the game the last time these teams played and the lakers were slow all game long.

We just came off a 5-1 road trip... we can ride that to something special for such a young team with a couple more wins (wiz and rockets)... both winnable games, and the wiz are vulnerable, they have lost alot lately.

25 road games out of 30?

It shouldnt be a problem this game, as long as arenas plays, he is going to try and to compete with kobe and take really bad shots, plus atkins and butler are going to try and beat us cuz everyone wants to smoke there former team. But i serioiusly dont see no problem with this game. As long as the lakers win all of there games going into dec 25 on national t.v. then people will kno how hot we are. Oh and if the lakers can make it a blow out SWEET, PLUS i Hope Kwame Punishes Washington for Treating him like Sh*t

Thanks, I heard it wrong on KCAL.

I drove back home (to my parents house) for a few days and my little sister has like 30 friends over for a X-Mas party so I had to watch the Laker game with little or no sound since their so damn loud. I heard it wrong.

Anyways, let's go for all three of these home games. I hope we stick it to Caron and Chucky.

YES! And my best friend is a wizards fan... so the next 2 weeks is crucial for us... you know how friends grind each other with trash talk. And right now... he is being reaaaal quiet He better, cause we have a better record.. were gonna win friday, and were gonna win for the sweep! on Dec. 26th and DMK will be in the building!@!!! only thing I fear is if we come out over confident. Sometimes, we dont play with same intensity as we do on the road. Lets just hope we can continue our good play at home. Its more important to win at home.

We won't come out "over-confident" not with us currently fighting for the 8th seed. However, I do agree with you that is important to win at home - hell, who would have thought we'd even be questioning them being a better road team than home team?

We'll be fine, and as Phil said, "we have a short date with our home crowd soon..."
