Hm? No way, I was thinking it was there best! Right up until Hudson and Wally started hitting those 3's, we were crushing them. It definitely was the most disappointing in terms of the outcome, but not performance wise.

I'm sorry-- I'm speaking half out of anger right now. I should have been more explicit. I do mean it was the worst game of the year not in terms of how we played overall, but in terms of the monumental collapse we experienced.

From a fan's perspective, it's the ultimate buzzkill to watch a team playing flawless basketball all of a sudden lose their fire and play a game abundant with mental mistakes.

They just have a lot of consistent scoring options, they have defenders and they have shooters and they have a David West (bigman) playing outta his mind. Non of what we have.

In the third quarter, you could see the bounce in Troy Hudsons step...the man could go anywhere he wanted on the court... Right then and there, I thought it was time to attach Smush to him and ATLEAST disrupt his rythem... I mean YOU COULD SEE THE RYTHEM of T-Hud as he was dribbling around and skipping through the D....right there, I was so angry cause I knew Phil wasnt doing anything about it...

This game was a DIZASTER that took all of a few minutes to unfold...

When you have a team shooting the lights out from the perimeter.....MAKE THEM PUT THE BALL ON THE FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!

Kobe played great...Laker offense was FINE...but DAMN...Wally shoulda been bumped and bruzed....I woulda clobberd him... don't let the little punk get all worked up...he gets that annoying mean look on his face...when he really looks like a little coward.....


Wow...Two guys I hate..T-hud...and WALLY...had great games....they focused on KG to much I guess........

Hudson was hot with Sasha on him and Wally was defended more by Luke than Odom but both played terrible defensively.
Some easy things that led to the win
1.Quarter they finished the quarter with a 3. Hudson
2.They finished the quarter by another 3 with Jaric (we were up 18)
3. They finished the quarter with 2 huge 3s (Wally and Hudson)
4.They started the 4th on fire and made 14-17 shots with 7-8 threes.

Definitely a sucky defense but give the Wolves credit for making ALL of their jumpers.

When I went to sleep we were up 15. Why am I not surprised.

I'm tired when I wake up every morning to go to work. That's the lamest excuse I've heard yet. This is their 9 to 5 job, there is absolutely no excuse that they should be tired. They work out more than the average Joe out there.

The main problem always comes down to DEFENSE. You don't execute DEFENSE and the other team will run over you. Where's the offside defensive help? Where's the talking amongst teammates when there is a pick set? I mean come on, if you can ask for the ball to shoot it why not give your fellow teammate a little holla that there is a man setting a pick so that you can go around that. I've seen numerous times when Kobe, Sasha, Smush are guarding their man and a pick is set right behind or to the side of them and not one person is yelling that there is a pick behind them, it's called communicating. Is it so hard to do this? Why is it so hard to clamp down on defense? You don't have to legs to move in the second half on offense or move quick, that's understandable but what happened to cheating a little and doing the things that Rodman or others are famous for.

The one thing that makes me sick of this team is the fact that not one person plays DEFENSE correctly. NOT ONE! On a side note if you can't play DEFENSE correctly do it as a team. You will be surprised how efficient that can truly make this team. WORK TOGETHER ALREADY GUYS!!!!

Arguable though. They weren't tired offensively - EVERYONE was playing a great game offensively. Defensively too... until the 4th when they broke down.

I wouldn't blame this loss on them being tired, but at the same time, it would be nice to face a Minny team when we have rest - all four times we meet/met with them this year, we're on the second night of a back2back.

offense doesnt take much energy out of you.

but when you are mentally tired, it will show on defense because you will make slow decisions/rotations.
Its like we were playing on adrenaline and then we saw the finish line, so we stopped kicking them while they were on the floor. We all know that once you switch off, mentally, it is impossible to get your focus back.

And you know why we play Minny on 2nd night of back to backs dont you..
so we can put in bad performances, therefore KG wont want to join us.
