Two words:

MUST WIN.

Is Kobe gonna play?

Yeah I agree - MUST WIN.

As for Kobe, no known news has been released on whether he will play in this game or not... At least not yet.

It's a must win, that we will win. We need to carry the energy we had tonight into Friday's game and it will be another blowout.

If we win, it will solitify our dominance that everyone 'round the leauge doubts we have. But with the defeat over Sacramento, we've definetly sent a message. It's going to be another interesting game Friday.

Our victory depends on Kobe, although it would be great if we could play and win without him.

Psychologically I think it's better if he plays that day though, so he's motivated and he'll once again have his basketball court as a "sanctuary"

I hope Kobe comes to the game on time. He's the spark for the Lakers, he made his shots early and that got the team going. If he doesn't start LA can still win but the guys MUST come out with the same intensity they had against the Kings. Minny lost to Denver so a win would move us up in the standings, and the T-Wolves are one of the top teams, so I expect everyone to be motivated and ready to play. Go LakeShow! Kill KG, Spree, and the Alien (Cassell). :jam2: :man10:

We definitely can beat this team. We're finally healthy and rolling and one of the main reasons we lost last time was that Kobe's shoulder limited him to 6/20 shooting and it was Malone's first game back so he only played 21 minutes.

If Shaq continues dominating the boards and Kobe's hot shooting continues, I can't picture us losing this one.

Keep in mind a win on Friday will move us a half game ahead of the Wolves.

well just tell them its one hella of a fluke then. :man13: Good it came against the queens.

But i know this is NO fluke, we are just this good if we want to be this good. Point is we dont have this kind of intensity in each and every game.

Neither can I. And with the amount of momentum the Lakers have gained by their winning streak, I feel they can send another message to the leauge by dominating Minnesota.

Either way, it's going to be a tough game.

I am so pumped for this game. It is the one and only game I will be going to this season. Hopefully we can lock down on D just like we did against the Kings.

Of course Kobe will be playing. He's in court today not tomorrow. But even so, I don't think we'll win this one. We will be feeling so good about ourselves, that I feel we might come out flat to start the game. But hopefully we still win. Go Lakers.

No I disagree, the more "high" we are on ourselves the better we play. The thing is, we can't get bored. Either way, like the Kings game, one of the teams is going to redefine themselves.

The Lakers are in that pre-playoffs cruise mode, which almost always carries over into the post-season for the past couple of years.

Agreed, the more swagger the Lakers have the better. I think the Lakers will take this one, they want homecourt and the Wolves stumbled to a struggling Denver team.

Will it be a blowout? Probably not, the Wolves play the LakeShow well, but Kobe will lead his team to another victory!

I'm not going to be too confident in the Lakers for this game so I'll say they'll lose (just like how I said they'll lose the last game). :man1:

On March 24 , the T Wolves lost to the Nuggets
Denver 101, Minnesota 92
KG had 24 points =/
nothing compared to kobe =P
So if they can control him, they should be in gooooooood shape.

Malone will contain KG, Payton must stop Cassell like he did Bibby, Fox and Kobe can handle Spree, and Shaq will block everybody. :man10:
