Now that was an interesting game ...

With the different ebbs and flows going on ... I wasn't sure the Spurs had another good stand in them, but then they did.

But seriously, it's just one game.
An important one ... but just one.
Game 2 will be Vital on both sides.

yeah, the only way to have a good team next year, if we don't win, is to trade Shaq for some good players and build a team around Kobe.

win or not, DO NOT RESIGN GP!!!

One horrible game and the whole Laker vibe is acting like it's the end of the world. Well, it isn't. We lost 1 game. I hate it just as much as the next Laker fan when we lose any ballgame. But you gotta look for some positive sign, which was our performance in the 3rd. It's not like the Spurs can't be toppled. We just gotta make sure to put the nail in the coffin when the 4th quarter comes around.

Ironically, we became the Houston Rockets in this 1st game. Turnovers were our biggest problems. Kobe started playing his one on one game and everybody else stood around. Is it me or does it seem like we suddenly forgot how to throw entry passes to Shaq? GP was a non-factor. Shaq was a disappointing non-factor, especially with no 7'6" guy standing in his way this time.

:man6: Grr, we lost the game one, but we must learn from that. We made too many turnovers, too many mistakes in defense. We were not able too calm down and keep the lead that we had, we simply gave them this win by easy baskets comming after our stupid turnovers :man7:
Nothing new happened, Shaq missed almost every free throw = another turnovers, and guys, we must be realistic, with our poor shooting, 20+turnovers + "shaq" turnovers we are not able to kill the spurs. :mad1:

So throw this game over us, and come better prepared for game 2, cause that is a must win for us, or our hopes will be really small....

( no matter what i still believe, this series is not over like some of you said till the spurs has 4 wins, and that's at least 3 games far away... )

did houston win? NO

"Kobe started playing his one on one game and everybody else stood around." - that was the ONLY reason why the game was not over in the first half.

"Shaq was a disappointing non-factor" - yeah, a non-factor for the last 2 YEARS

we wont win when...

we commit 20 turnovers

we only get 6 pts off the bench and the spurs bench gives 23 pts. how does a chump like brown score 8pts on us?

payton has just 4 pts and allows parker to score 20

shaq has only 14 attempts. give him at least 20 and the spurs front line will be in foul trouble... so what if he misses the free throws. duncan does the same thing
