Series will be tied. We'll come out with the same type of intensity and energy, but I don't expect a blowout. Maybe we'll win by at most 14 points.

I don't expect the Spurs to play that poorly again. Lakers will be confident...almost too confident, thinking it's just like last year. Spurs will win by 5.

gah... nobody gives the Lakers enough credit, but the Spurs it seemed like gets all of them no matter what. The Lakers played one great game. It's more a sense of urgency now rather than "overconfidence". All of a sudden it's back to square one and the Spurs will "dominate" once again.

If anything, the Spurs should be rocked. Their winning streak's been broken, they've been blowout, they're playing one more game on the road, and there's not much time in between games to fully adjust.

You know I really wish the Spurs would lose 3 straight games starting tomorrow.

how can you say they will win by 5 when they just got beat by 24 in the same arena? :man7:

I can say that because the Spurs always come back after a loss. There's no way in hell they would play that poorly again. If you think that then you know absolutely nothing about the Spurs. 5 points is not domination but it is winning.

Lakers won Game 4 last year...

I realize that...that's why the LAKERS will be thinking it's just like last year and expect to win.

99-95, Lakers. The Spurs were up by 16 and the Lakers had to fight back... last year's Game 4 was on Mother's Day... we all know what happened in Game 5. As long as we win Game 4, by more than 10 points, Game 5 will be different from last year's Game 5 and different from the 1st two games this year.

The Spurs will be D-O-U-B-T-I-N-G themselves...the Lakers can't let up, they need to do everything they did in Game 3, plus improve on defensive glass.

ok this what i think he going on rite now
if the lakers can beat the spurs by 10-15 points, they now think they can actually beat this team pretty badly.
Spurs will also think that they cant win at home because think about it
lakers could be up rite now 3-0 if they played solid ball in game 1 and 2 in the 4th
Spurs know that Lakers can defeat them on their home court
so lakers winning by 10 or more is a must because spurs will be getting a message which should make them pee
=P

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Shut down Parker and Duncan again and it's in the bag. Only problem is, that is a lot easier said than done, but it was done in game three. If they can find a way to do that again, Spurs will be blown out again.
Still though, there is no reason for the Lakers not to win tommorow, they better be ready and play as hard, hungry and determined as they did yesterday. Nothing but hard core D; Murder, murder, murder. That defense has to be MURDEROUS. Shaq smells blood...

Game 4 will be a war, the Lakers want to even things up and the Spurs want revenge. The Lakers need to come out with the same energy and continue to execute their game plan. TD and TP will be looking to bounce back and Pop will make some adjustments, so I expect this game to be closer. Kobe will probably make it to the game on time, let's hope he sticks to the pattern of performing well after a long day in court. This is a must-win game (can't afford to go down 3-1), so the Lakers must treat it as such. And they need to get more rebounds and put a hand in the face of the Spurs 3-point shooters. :man7:
