Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal each scored 27 for the Lakers, who lost 106-77 to the Spurs on Wednesday in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinal series. The Lakers will look for their first win of the series Friday in Game 3 at 7:30 p.m. (TNT) at the STAPLES Center.

This is goin to be a grudge match,but overall the lakers whining is goin to kill them.Phil needs to shut the hell up about the little touch fouls he thinks he saw and just coach,not whine.And another problem I see coming for the lakers is Jackson on the spurs has not evn lit up his A game yet.Its either manu or jackson and you are not goin git them both,one of them is goin go off.Jackson useally scores 24+ a game.In my opinion the Lakers loose 4-1 against the spurs.LAKERS ARE DOOMED..................

Well with George out, that brings alot of trouble to the board, remember, we have been very lucky over the past 3 years to not have any serious injuries. And now with Foxy, and George out, we'll have to depend onto the DEEP end of the bench...

We'll see... I'm not too worried as Brian Shaw said. It's still too early into the series. The Spurs may not have played their A game, but neither did the Lakers. So we'll just have to see what happens in Game 2. There's no doubt that there will be adjustments and improvements, so SPURS fans don't quite get your hopes up yet. It's time to show these people what our bench can do!!! Nobody has really payed much attention to our rookies, Pargo & Rush, as well as Slava. Give them some minutes to warm up, and they'll rock! Game 2 here we come!!

The bench REALLY needs to step it up!! Our bench scoring last game was only 4 points!!! Wussup with that!! Dayam!

WHATS HAPPENIN TO US?

Even with this loss, the series is far from over, Lakers are only down 2 in their heads, they could easily make this go to 6 by winning the next two. I honestly don't see it happening. The injuries have taken our team away. We are witnessing what all the bandwagon hoppers call the fakers.

Because without Foxy & George, we arn't the Lakers...

Sure Kobe got his points, but he didn't play selfish ball.. He seems like he's the only one right now who can penetrate the D, and shake the defenders. Even though he got BS offensive foul calls on him!!!! How is anyone else gonna get a shot off if the defenders keep playing on them so tight. They're presssin tight on D, and the only way to get a shot off is to shake or spin on the defender some how without getting called for a BS offensive foul. No one was moving out on the perimiter, and the defenders on the open men let them be open for a sec, then when they see Kobe in trouble, they let him think he has a man open to pass to, and they just get in the open lane, and get another fast break bucket.... It's not Kobe's fault that his teammates aren't consistanly moving, they're just standing around... But hey Phil will figure something out!! Us tru Lakers fans still have faith!!!!!!!!
