Losing Game 3 might be a blessing in disguise, I think that will motivate the team to do better. The Lakers will adjust on D and not let the Rockets get as many shots, Kobe and GP will score more and restore balance to the offense, and they'll win on Sunday. I doubt this series will go beyond five games, and I'm not forgetting about Kobe's situation for Game 5, but we all know how he plays after losses and long days in court. :man1:

I still keep the faith but this game exposed our weakness and I think we have a lot of, right now. What I see is a team without a plan and without a fighting spirit. I have the feeling that they think: well it is just one game, no big matter, we can win whenever we want...I have heard the same not a long time ago, I think it was last year against the Spurs. We have to realized that we are currently one of the best team in the NBA, not the best. If we want to win we have to do what other team do. We have to be hungry and play like underdogs. Yes, we have to prove something, we are not champion anymore. I think we will win the next game, and the one after. But we have to change many things before we meet the Spurs in the next round. And the fisrt one is namely the team spirit.

i hope kobe will play

otherwise i dont think that we can win

dont you think that shaq mustnt say it??

I'm proven like two plus two. I shouldn't have to say anything. They should know," O'Neal said. "We have to stick with what got us the lead. I got the ball and I was doing my thing, then I didn't see it for a while. That's been going on all year."

i couldnt watch game but he has 16fg and 14ft
what does he want more??
and he is a little conceitet :disagree:

Ok this is what I think the lakers need to do
Need to get kobe started off. Have Kobe attack from the start instead of giving it to Shaq.
Shaq doesnt need to worry about scoring, I think he needs to get those off rebounds and def rebounds
Fox or George need to step it up!
Malone needs to continue to keep making shots and going after the balls
GP needs to get into the game FAST, if he doesnt want to sit on the bench during the 4th QT, he better get in the game
Shaq also needs to avoid fouls
Rush and Fisher need to keep getting open looks and making them. These guys are the Lakers future! (Next to Kobe)

GP's acting like a little punk. Sure, the guy's not saying anything about it, but you know he's fuming about his lack of 4th quarter playing time.

Hey GP, it's real simple. You want 4th quarter minutes? Then make your shots. If Rush and Fisher keep shooting as well as they've been doing, then I've got no problem about benching GP if he keeps firing blanks.

I've got love for the Lakers, but there's only so much more whining I can take from this team. Shaq keeps continuining his daily rant about needing more touches... "make sure the big dog is happy." Hey Shaq, how about those touches at the free-throw line? Make more of those and we'll all be happy.

Game 4 is the next stop. A June parade down Figueroa is the destination! Let's take care of business... so by Game 5, we'll have Francis shaking his head muttering "Houston, we have a problem."

That's a good one, I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone use that phrase, but if the Lakers had won Game 3 I bet it would have been in all the newspapers. :man10:

Shaq must stay out of foul trouble and has to make his free throws

Malone has to play like he has the past 2 games...great

Kobe needs to step it up, his performances this series have been under par for Kobe.

Phil MUST play Payton 42+ minutes

The bench needs to step up and contribute

I'm looking foward to this game. If you go back and watch game three, the Lakers did get away from what they were doing that gave them the lead in the first place -- they went away from Shaq.

I expect Shaquille to go for 50+ tonight.
