Van Gundy is gonna be so frustrated he's going to start losing that last patch of hair on the top of his head now. But in all seriousness, the Rockets played hard and did more than anyone expected them to in this series and they'll have their time to shine and be a team to contend with in a couple of years with more experience. Well.. with the exception of Francis that is. He still sucks. :man1:

The Lakers are sending a message tonight. When it comes down to crunch time, they will respond. They needed to close this game out, not only have they done that, but they've blown out the Rockets.

Kobe Bryant and steve francis have some stuff in common. They were the starting guards in this year's all-star game in LA. They are both incredibly gifted athletes. But when it comes down to playoff time, Kobe is just insanely good, and steve is decent.

in the series:

Player Assists Steals Turnovers

Kobe 31 15 6
Francis 38 7 21!!!

kobe had almost as many assists (and he's not even a point guard!). Phenomenal performance by Kobe in this last game...bring on bowen, that bastard.
