Lakers Dynasty 2000 wrote:Karl Ready?

Karl Malone, after going 3 for 14 in Game 1, shot jump shots Sunday until his fingertips bled. He was the last man off the court.

The Lakers didn't do any work as a unit, confining their "practice" to watching film and shooting. The people who have been favoring injuries, Malone among them, "are all better today than they were yesterday," Jackson said.

Also: O'Neal played 45 minutes Saturday, and Jackson insisted, "He won't play those kind of minutes again."

What do you expect? Malone is an iron man. He is a Terminator, right LD2K? :man1:

I'm watching the Spurs/Grizzlies game right now. Duncan is getting played pretty physically by the Grizzlies and he's complaining like a little girl. I guess now he knows slightly how Shaq feels (these fouls are baby fouls compared to the ones on Shaq).

I never understood why the Lakers never just beat the hell out of Yao...it happens to Shaq every night, and Yao probably won't hold up to the punishment. If he is gonna score with an easy basket, why not punish him and make him shoot free throws? At least that will make him think twice about taking the ball inside.

I think those 2 early blocks that Shaq got on Yao made him overly aggressive on the defensive end. He should have let Yao have that basket on the last foul.

because his free throws are 80% and Shaq's 30% :disagree:

That doesn't matter....I am saying knock the hell out of him if he is gonna score anyway...like when he had Fox posted up
