We need to eat soup with a fork.

Shaq's foul trouble is killing us because he can't get into a rhythm. We need Kobe to keep penetrating and getting them into foul trouble though, becuase near the end of the game it will soften their D.

Malone's playing amazing... I'd like to see Shaq and Payton more involved.

What I don't understand is why Kobe never sets a screen (with his left side!). Normally, the person setting the screen gets the open shot. I would run a pick and roll/pop with Kobe screening for Payton. If they go after Payton, Kobe gets an easy shot, if they go after Kobe, Payton gets the layup/dish to Shaq for a dunk.

Malone is playing great. He is rebounding and knocking down his shots (4-6)

Kobe is doing a good job of drawing fouls. He needs to continue to penetrate and pick up a few fouls on Yao.

Payton needs to start scoring, he hasn't done much (3-8 from the field)

Fisher needs to keep hitting them 3's (2-2, 3-3 of you count the one he made after they called it out of bounds)

Slava needs to stop shooting(2-7)

Shaq must stay in the game and not get into any more foul trouble. We are going to need him to win this game. We need Shaq to guard Yao, Malone has been doing a good job, but he gives away like 9 inches to Yao.
