The Lakers trailed by 13 points at halftime and never recovered, losing 102-91 in Houston on Friday night in Game 3 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series. Shaquille O'Neal finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds and Karl Malone added 18 points and 11 boards for Los Angeles, which holds a 2-1 advantage in the series. The Lakers will look to widen their lead in Game 4 at 12:30 p.m. Sunday (ABC).
