I think this game will be pretty much just like the last few games... It'll be a very close game, but I think the Lakers will dominate completly in the 2nd half, like they sometimes tend to do. I think we'll win by like 11 :man1:

Minny will prolly think they'll have the advantage from the refs which they won't cuz of their play. They can't control their emotions durin neck and neck games, and durin the 3rd, the Lakers are gonna get a lead. We might just play Slava this time. :jam2:

I should be a fan of Chess, it would be better for my heart! This latest game was intense, we won, that is fine and the best news is: SHAQ IS BACK!!!! But what is true as well is that we don't look really good and dominant. Really, excepted the 4th quarter we were pretty howful, no? My opinion is that we will lose next game then come back and win 6 and 7. LA - MIN 90 - 95

Game 5

Postby Guest on Mon Apr 28, 2003 7:27 am

Game 5: Tight game while Kobe is getting others involved. He'll have about 18 to start the 2nd half and finish the 3rd quarter with 26. then he'll take over the 4th quarter and finish with 40 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and LA gets a nice 10 point win. Hey Queens fans, frustrating, isn't it ?

Close game again. Lakers will prevail do to experience and knowing how to handle pressure. Fox not being there will stun them, possibly hurt them, but no kill them. Adversity is what they live for. Lakers by 5 or 7....

Shaq needs to get in the middle of the key more, and stop shooting those lousy bank shots. He needs to intimidate. Get in the middle, and either dunk the ball hard, lay it up with ease, or get in the line.

Devean is doing pretty good, especially in the first quarter.

And somone please guard Hudson. I don't care if Shaq's mama has to do it. Get someone in his face .

I forgot to write in my last thread.

The Lakers need to start the third with more emotion and take it to the Wolves. Pound the ball to Shaq and keep doing it, until he doesn't want it anymore, which is NEVER. Increase that 10 point lead to 20.

The Lakers always play inspired in the 4th quarter, so playing great in the third is a must.

GO LAKERS!!!!!!

LETS GET THIS WIN FOR FOXY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Fisher is hitting his shots, and now has the most 3 pointers in this year's playoffs with 19 (game still going). So Good job Fishy!

Kobe got hot, Shaqs playing well, and the role players are there, we look good, sharp, and great. Make it a strong 4th quarter Lakes...

Im glad it looks as if we have a chance to shut this series out in 6. And it will be in Los Angeles. Lakers need to put this team away. But anyways, good start to 4th...
