Well, it's finally here, Lakers first 'game' of the season. Yeah, it's preseason, but it's actual NBA players in actual uniforms out there playing. And for the first time maybe ever I'm more excited to see what our rookies look like out there, how 2nd year player Devin Ebanks plays, and how our new signings look, if Kapono can still shoot, what McRoberts looks like at all. It's also a bigger game than it would have been a few days ago now that CP3 is in a Clippers uniform and the media suddenly think the Clipps are better than us and half of LA seems to be jumping on their bandwagon. In the end, I'm just glad there's a season, it's almost gameday again.

I can't wait for this day. I get to finish my last exam and go home to some Lakers basketball. Life will be good

I really don't care too much about this game, I'm just curious to see who is in what shape.

I think Clippers will be coming out ferociously. For them its a big deal to play the Lakers, especially now.

I think there might be a fight in this game.

Or at least some sort of altercation.

This game could mean more considering all the drama that happened the past week or two, but it's still a preseason game. No reason to go all crazy and risk the team's success when it really counts. I just want to see how our players are and how the newcomers play. If we win that'll be a bonus.

I realize this is a meaningless game in the grand scheme of things, but still come on this is the first actual Laker game since May 8th, that's like over 7 months ago. I'm just glad to have a season at all, cant wait to see this game even if it's just preseason.

I hope the Lakers showcase Bynum a bit, to get the Magic thinking more.

Will be nice to have some (visual) ideas of what we are going to do on both sides of the floor plus the rotations MB want to play.

Damn listened to 10 minutes of NBATV pre-game and I'm already sick of the CP3 talk. Can't wait to run away with this division and show ppl how dumb they were acting about the Clipps.

I've never been so excited for a preseason game, 30 mins or so to go. Get to see our new guys (McRoberts, Kapono, Murphy) and I finally get to see what Morris looks like in action.

Good to see the entire Lakers crew on fox sports west. Its been awhile.
