I think we'll still win, but it's gonna be a 7 game series now.

many factors here

1. he has not getting calls all season long and that definitely plays a role on him not driving to the paint more.
2. maybe he is wearing down after last year's long playoff run, the olympics and this season.
3. too much confidence in his jump shots.

I understand you are giving logical reasons to why teh Lakers are playing bad but I think you need to understand that the lakers just lost and people dont want to read posts that are so utterly negative. Believe me, the board isnt mentally handicapped. We know who lost, we know why they lost, we know we are in a 0-1 hole. We dont need constant reminders and more negative posts from fellow "fans." Im not saying give me a pile of [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] with sprinkles on top and call it ice cream but what I am saying is that people will jump on you at every chance they get if you keep up with the negative attitude.

amen!!! bynum has the physical presence to at least stand up with yao but he's not been taught properly. kareem was a finesse center with a sky hook, look at bynum now, settling for free throw line jump shots. pathetic, we need a INSIDE enforcer and shaq wuold've been perfect for us.

rick adellman totally out coached phillips tonite. everytime when we made a run in the 2nd half and he'd called timeouts and immediately the Rox responded every single time. phillips just sat there and made fun of craig sagger's suit. pathetic.

Our star player was sick

Andrew played the best he could.

Overall our entire team played out of sync it happens, get over and move on we have another game wednsday it's not the end of the world. I'm sure if we end up winning the series all of this panic will disappear *smh*

6th one? Lakers LOSE against San Antonio

Phil is 6-8 when his teams lose Game 1.

Lakers are just not in the drivers seat in this one anymore. That's all. Game 2 is meaningless for Houston.
