Mon. 5/4 - Lakers vs. HOU - Game 1 - Predictions/Comments

Totally embarrasing. They must think they have the win for granted or something, because yesterday game was horrendous.

Think about it this way. We played absolutly terrible, and they win by 8.

Now, wait until Wednesday and we play great.

Yeah, im pissed, yes i am embarrassed, but come on, we swept these guys, we already know we can steal 1, even 2, in houston!

If we are down 0-2 THEN its time to start worrying.

If we are down 0-2 its too late to start worrying. lol.

Game 2 should be interesting. If its remotely a close game I fully expect Houston to win the series.

Just like Detroit in 04.

For everyone who is in panic mode and saying the series is over ... Just relax... Phil Jackson has lost game 1 of a series many times and still his teams have come back to win the series... And all ima say is Bulls vs. Knicks 1992 east semis... google it.. you tube it...

Some from the Lakers needs to get on the Jim Rome show before Game 2. That's what Scola did yesterday so Houston had "Karma".

i think i overheard someone on TnT last night saying phil jackson has a 6-8 record when losing the first game of a playoff series.......not exactly encouraging.

Wow you are a sore loser like you said,so if L.A. wins right back on the ship huh? I was brought up on the phrase "You have what you speak" so if you keep saying or thinking they'll win, they'll win. If you keep saying or thinking we'll win and have faith in the team then guess what, some how some way they'll.

What did you all think of Kobe's post game demeanor? He seemed really calm and confident... would you all rather him be this way, or more fired up about dropping game 1 at home?

Win game 2.. series is 1-1... go back to clutch city... take 1 or 2 and all is good... anyone remembers the 02 lakers when San antonio stole game a in the semis... and rick fox and Kobe said we gonna have a party.. and they took both in the alamodome...have faith.. Houston is due for a home lost...

unfortunately we don't have rick fox or any other of those old lakers alongside kobe other than an expiring derek fisher. I hope you are right tho.
