The Dallas Mavericks came back from 16 points down AT STAPLES and owned us in crunch time

If that doesn't mark the end of this team I don't know what does.

As I said, the Lakers are too predictable on last second shots, and the Kobe for three play was fairly obvious and unnecessary.

It was in the 3rd quarter. They had a nice lead and for some reason thought they didn't need to play defense. Sometimes they survive it, this time they didn't.

Um, the Lakers losing a 4th game in the series? :man3: Seriously how long have we watched this team, how many times have we seen them come from behind, in games and in series. Get a grip, one game doesn't mean a series is over, if it did we'd have lost to the Hornets, all this means is we have to win one in Dallas now.

I think it's finally time to realize we have to play at our best and not relax after getting a nice lead. I mean, it's the playoffs. But no reason to panic yet. I am pretty sure we are going to adjust for the next game.

karacha wrote:Frankly, this is exactly what we deserve. Still, I'm not worried at all. I don't think they can beat us in 7.

I disagree, the Mavericks can beat the Lakers. They have the inside presence to slow down Gasol and Bynum, they have the shooters to burn the Lakers slow rotations, and they have the clutch player in Dirk to lead them in crunch time. Dallas has also shown they are not mentally weak, and the Lakers will need to play 100% every game from here on out to win this series.

I also find it very troubling that the Lakers have dropped two Game 1's this post-season. They are not focused at all, and that tells me they may not be up to the challenge of three-peating.
