Barnes is doing a good job defensively.

Honestly, I don't know how you could have possibly been against it.

Basically giving up the frontline that made as two time champion...

The same frontline that was drubbed by Dallas last year. Pau isn't getting any younger either.

The only way you give them up was for a trade that was too good to pass up, and the Paul trade fit that mold. You get the best PG in the league AND you save money. Easily the biggest upgrade at point guard in history.

Anyway, no sense in talking about something that can't be changed. We're finally playing better right now.

Was Puke Walton ever good? Did Mitch see something in him that everyone in the world didn't see?

He really is though. He's using his athleticsm to get out on shooters, challenging shots inside when they drive, just covering a lot of ground.

We don't even know what kind of team we have yet. This is gonna take time.

u do understand we dont have time right? with a short season, teams that come out of the gate winning will have better seeding. this isnt a marathon anymore its like a 5k run

It was time to move on. We were giving up two star players that were 31+ and on the decline for a 26 year old superstar. I don't see how you don't make that trade.

Yep. Absolutely no reason as to why Barnes should be warming the bench, especially when you give Puke Walton a shot.
