Well, to be fair, Odom was a great 6th man and definitely made the game a bit easier for Kobe.

It could work if the people around them were better. There's really only Kobe. Metta is hit and miss offensively but the man has heart.

This game has been largely influenced by the officiating, but I'd be happy if we could get an athletic 4 or 5 for Pau this offseason. I just don't know who would give up what for him. We need someone at that spot to consistently bring whatever he has and we need part of the repertoire to be energy and hustle.

kobe showed up pretty huge today, though i'm sure that won't be the narrative over the summer. pau was meh, bynum was sub-meh, and everyone else played scared (except hill, he just didn't get a ton of burn).

both bigs should be on the block for an all star level pg or pf. whichever fetches the better return, move that one. but this version of the team is donezo.
