With a stupid loss to the Clippers, hopefully we come out strong from start to finish. We need to start winning games now, especially against good teams.

Thunder are going to be fired up for this one. You know that.

So the Lakers have to come out and match their energy.

I just want this to be the start of another winning streak, but I do hope we treat this like a playoff game and spank the Thunder at Staples. I need to see a win after our loss to the Clippers. :bang:
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

we will be overwhelmed by their athleticism. I really don't see us winning the 2nd game of a b2b against a young athletic and good team like the Thunder.

We can win, but we need to do things to offset their athleticism, like slow down the tempo, feed and play through our bigs, and not turn the ball over to limit their fast breaks. Above all though, we need to be mentally focused and prepared. If we take the game seriously, I think we'll be victorious.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

^we are playing at home...we better win, no excuse.

I don't care who comes to Staples Center, a world champion should be able to defend its home floor...

we will see what this team is made of. I don't think we are a championship right now. Our margin of error has become to small...we just can't dominate teams and play complacent...if we play at 99%, then 5 teams in the NBA can beat us. If we play at 90%, every playoff team can beat us and if we play worse, we are easily beatable as scrub teams like Milwaukee, Memphis, Phoenix, Clippers etc. proved.

We shouldn't have these many losses as the defending champs when we have the most easiest early season schedule in the league. I mean I know never to underestimate anyone and take every game like the next but I just don't see how we were able to lose so many games to so many scrub teams. We should be where San Antonio is or even better, but we'll see how well they play against the Leader scorer in the league Kevin Durant and one of the best side pieces in the league Westbrook. Both of those guys have been unstoppable so far they're like batman and Robin after they came out the fountain of youth. So we need to win this game and EVERYONE not just Kobe, Pau and Bynum but EVERYONE needs to contribute and play well.

We should destroy them in the paint where he have the advantage. I want to see Drew get fired up, grab offensive rebounds and slam them back home, Pau making his baby hooks around the basket and Lamar driving through all game long, that should get the job done. BTW they're 7-0 in nationally televised games this season.

I predict that our chances of winning this one will be highly predicated on how much damage Fisher is allowed to do.

Less minutes for Fisher => great chance of a win.

^ Drew may HAVE to dominate if Pau plays like he did yesterday. Let's hope the refs (and Phil) doesn't take him out the game.

So the Christmas Day game involving the Heat on ABC wasn't nationally televised? :man3: Or were you referring to the Thunder's games? :man10:

Not if the zebras have anything to say about it. If they don't give him BS fouls, maybe.

Boston will make the finals again, there's no doubt in my mind after watching this game. Miami and Orlando will choke in the playoffs, Boston will not.

We better take this game seriously. Because if we don't -- OKC will run us out of the building.
