how about this little stat:

Kobe held T-mac to 5 points in the 4th quarter and OT combined, now that is some defense.

Too bad I couldn't watch the game, cause I live overseas.:man6:
...does anybody remember the game during the lockout-season when Kobe (20 at that time!:man4:) dropped 35 points in the second half against Orlando after trailing by 20 plus points? This guy just knows how to takeover...:bow:

i recorded the game and watched from the end of the 3rd to the end of the game over 2 times tonite :jam2:

edit: plus the one when i watched it live = 3 times :jam2: :jam2:
What's it going to take to have the Lakers to have a team song/chant like euroleague.. teams have... I can only wish.

Im sorry to say that i was so mad at my lakers underachieving against this tean that i left at about 10:30 to go to bed. I say the score on espn early in the fourth qaurter (88-77) and i was thinking how could we lose to lazy eye and the magic!?I fell asleep, not wanting to hear how my team underachieved(again) only to hear Kobe rallying us to a fourth qaurter comeback with 20sumthin points, all i can say is :bang:

I actually watched the entire game last night, and after it ended I was so tired I went to bed early. Just a few comments:

Kobe's performance speaks for itself, no need to elaborate.

No defense from Lakers for most of the game (except #8), even in OT.

T-Mac can be stopped.

GP is also clutch.

Shaq's dominance good, free throws bad (and that goes for the entire team except Kobe).

The Lakers need to stop fooling around and get it together, NOW.

That's all.

Kobe would of been tired. Why do you think no one plays fullcourt defense when it isnt absolutely necessary? Fatigue. Kobe played the end of this game like a championship game, sorry pacers. But you can't count on that on a consistant basis. I'm not talking about the 40 points i'm talking bout the defense. Shaq = best player on the league, Kobe = most talented. I don't ever want to hear mcGrady is better than kobe. Kobe = McGrady stopper. McGrady even had to switch up so he wont catch fouls.

i swallowed my pride, im the biggest shaq fan there is. Of course 20-20 is a huge feat. sh1t, it's easier scoring 40. BUT kobe did it all in 1 half, and the way he stopped McGrady is unheard of. He was on him like your nails on your fingers. Last time I've seen kobe do that was in the finals, kobe's talent is not measurable. He did MJ offense, but i don't recall MJ doing this type of defense. Even though, mj pipp and rodman got the defenseve men of the year 1 time
