Yep, I'm a sore loser, and take losses personally. Probably worse than some of the Lakers themselves...

Maybe I shouldn't care as much, and just cheer blindfully.... but basketball is my passion. I can't be in the NBA but it would be my dream career.

at this rate, they should beat them.... sometime in 2008.

oh wait, nevermind, my math's messed up.

faith
n.
1. Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

See being a science guy, that faith thing and I don't mix. Execute, play hard and well, and you will win. Don't do it and you lose. All the faith in the world doesn't mean anything.

Just ask the Clippers... or my 49ers this year...

That makes two of us.

The only way I console myself after a Lakers loss is hitting the court myself

Lakers actually played a really effective zone defense during their comeback, they contested all outside shots and when the T-wolves tried to penetrate it the Lakers stepped up and forced a kick out. impressive D at the end hopefully this will boost our teams confidence.

I agree. We played superb defense in the fourth quarter... near the end though... we dodged a couple of bullets. Amazing win for the Lakers.

The thing that I love about this win is that they never stopped playing. You look at the games last week in SA and Dallas....those games were over after the first quarter....not because of the score, but because of the attitude and body language of the guys. Tonight, they got down early, no one but Kobe could hit water from a fishing boat, but they kept working. And by the 4th quarter, they got their second wind, and went for it. Hard work as a team will win you more games than lose. I hope that is what they take with them from this game.
YES WE CAN.

Seriously? They didn't hit more than that in Kobe's 12 three-point game?

That was the best part of this comeback. Kept them under 100 and go to 17-2 when doing so... 17-2... Lakers are DOMINANT when they keep teams under 100 pts...

43 pts allowed in the 2nd half... good D... blocking shots, contesting shots... and then hitting open 3's...

Let's beat Denver, and have some hope of getting better as the season progresses.

Yeah I'll have that when I move into the city... I haven't played ball in so long, and I'm getting out of shape... you'd think I'm pregnant with that spare tire I've grown... sheesh...

And your delusional optimism is unwarranted. It's nice but its wrong, and I'll bet you any amount of money on it. I know my laker team better than you. I watch them very carefully.

Has anyone ever noticed that so far this year the Lakers haven't made ONE comeback?
Actually i had the same idea. LA made a comeback against Torronto with 11 down but that was first quarter.Lakers were 1-12 after trailing after three quarters. Thats just a sign of missing toughness but we won this one with a 9 point deficit in the 4th. I turned to check the mobley trade and LA had a great comeback within few miutes turning the deficit into a lead with a stretch of 3s
