And you're right. He's not a #1 option, not even a 1.b.
My faith in Howard moving forward is VERY slim. If he was traded I wouldn't lose any sleep, and in some ways I'd be excited.

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing
Lakers would rather get back to LA than get back on defense. ... Fast-break points: DEN 29, LAL 3.

A lot to ask of this team quite frankly. Close and tough game yesterday and Denver isn't exactly a push over in Denver. They have been doing this to a lot of teams this season.

At least Utah is losing. Not bad.

Dwight gives up a lot on plays. Just watch him and only him. He refuses to SPRINT the floor, and we are giving up way too many rebounds.

If Dwight COULD EVER be a leader, with energy and hustle, guys would follow and this team would be great.

But instead -- no energy anywhere, and missed FT and giving up offensive rebounds.

Damn we just aren't getting the 50/50 plays... Twan misses and Iggy gets stripped but gets it back for the finish.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Stu with the overly political comment about Dwight's free throw shooting..... "Dwight isn't "effective" from the line tonight".... :man10: ya think?...
