He just did a beautiful spin move and nearly threw a pass through Blake's head, too. I say let's pound the ball inside.

That one worked.... well not so well for Bogut

Dwight lucky he didn't get T'd up there when he dumped the ball on Bogut after that dunk
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Is Pau the worst defensive big in the league? (talking about bigs that get considerable minutes)
I know he isn't healthy, but even when he was healthy, I'm not sure I can name a big that plays 25+ minutes a night that is such a defensive liability

I know some of you disagree, but I'd still love to have Curry as a centerpiece on this team.

Tell me a team of Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, the artist formerly known as Ron Artest, Pau Gasol and Antwan Jamison would be fighting for the 8th seed in the playoffs, I'd call you a pure plum liar.

I'm personally "over" Pau, but he's clearly only about at 60% - maybe less. He looks like he doesn't belong in a uniform, much less in the starting lineup of a playoff team.

switch all pick and rolls and on offense just dump it in the post everytime. Both those should slow the pace significantly and lets us play pseudo-defense.

I wouldn't disagree for any reason other than those ankles, those ankles scare me a lot.

If it weren't for the ankles of glass I'd take him. Not sure he's a "center piece" but he's definitely at the top of the next group for sure.

I agree, but humor me for a sec, every "big" in the league that plays 25+ minutes, is there any that's a bigger defensive liability as Pau?

The only time I find Pau's D somewhat helpful is when we play teams that post up their bigs a lot and don't really dribble penetrate. But most of those bigs are often strong and athletic and out rebound him, so it's never a clear win.

A team of D12 with back surgery and a torn labrum, an over the hill Steve Nash, a past his prime MWP, a lack a drive from Pau and Kobe trying to carry all of them. We are probably right where we should be with a weak bench on top of it.
