Would be a huge win.. If we play like we have been in this last 2 games then we're done, but if we look focused and play smart then we can beat them.. We beat them before, and they were playing better then.

according to recent history ... we're 2-0 against GS even if we suck big time this season ( or in 06 and 07) ...

18-2 in the last 20 , 27-3 in the last 30 games

according to all-time history a team with 4 HOFs doesn't hover around 0.500. And accoring to history, the Laker never end up below the Warriors, Clippers, Nuggets, etc.

Obviously, this team is on a mission to embarass the Lakers track record. Lets see where the most spectecular fail in recent memory takes us. I actually loved it when D'Antoni thrashed them in the post game interview. He was livid for a reason. When you don't have "it", then you simply don't. Kobe, Nash etc...they all say: "I'm not afraid of anybody, I firmly believe" etc...but been there done that, its lip service.

Soon enough their a** is on the exit interview chair and they say: "we just didn't have it this year..injuries...yada yada...". Crying a river and saying how they will come back with a vengeance next season etc. I have seen too much basketball to get fooled.

BTW, I would love to be proven wrong. My problem with the Lakers overall is

a) they can't defend their home floor
b) they blow bananas on the road.

you ain't gonna win series against the top teams under this circumstances. No matter who they play if they even make it into the post-season. It has 1-4 written all over it.

steph curry rolled his surgically-repaired ankle yesterday (again), though he seems optimistic that he will play. let's hope he decides to rest instead

You NEVER know what you will get from this group. If they can just FOCUS... Don't understand why that is so difficult for them even from a fan standpoint.

QUICK PREVIEW
Lakers (36-34) at Warriors (40-31)
10:30 PM EST

LAKERS
Lost last 2
13-22 on the road
19-22 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Steve Nash 12.6 points, 6.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds
Kobe Bryant 27.0 points, 5.8 assists, 5.4 rebounds
Metta World Peace 12.9 points, 1.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds
Pau Gasol 13.1 points, 3.5 assists, 8.0 rebounds
Dwight Howard 16.5 points, 1.4 assists, 12.5 rebounds

WARRIORS
Won last 1
23-10 at home
21-20 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Stephen Curry 22.4 points, 6.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds
Klay Thompson 16.4 points, 2.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds
David Lee 18.5 points, 3.7 assists, 11.2 rebounds
Harrison Barnes 9.2 points, 1.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds
Anrew Bogut 6.3 points, 2.3 assists, 7.6 rebounds

PREDICTION
The Lakers are in shambles right now. Kobe isn't obviously 100% on that ankle of his, Pau Gasol isn't all there physically, and Antawn Jamison is ailing with a wrist injury. Stephen Curry is going to play, but his ankle is (as it often is) banged up. I wouldn't be blown away if LA wins, but it looks unlikely.

Kobe has been dominant against Golden State this season (ball dominant as well as impressive dominant) - he has taken 59 shot attempts, has 61 points, 19 boards, 12 dimes, and 7 TO. David Lee has been big for Golden State against LA, but the real concern is LA's defense against Guards. Curry, Thompson, and Jack have combined for 103 points in the two games against LA this season.

This will be a telling game for us IMO. First time we've played a superior opponent on the road in a hostile arena in awhile.

Yea.... I know.... but they have a superior record and have played better than us all year so they ARE superior at this point.

They also have a mix of the types of players that give us trouble.

Most likely a loss. The Lakers didn't want to make it easy on themselves to secure a playoff spot when they had a chance.

Good start by Dwight. It would be great if we can get a W, because Uta won, as expected.
