So am I. ABC is legit.

Best broadcasts of all time (in my opinion):

1. NBA on NBC
2. FSN
3. K-CAL 9 (except for their stupid delays)
4. ABC
5. TNT

for me

1.NBC (miss the time)
2.TNT (inside the NBA is fun)
3.ABC ( I can never get perfect picture from it, lots dots)
4. KCAL & FSN (damn I can't receive those channel so I have to pay 150$ per year on NBALP to watch all lakers game)

I wish NBA was back on NBC, just hearing the Playoff theme makes me wanna pop in some old tapes.

I'm not nervous because it's not if the Lakers are going to win a championship, it's when the Lakers are going to win a championship.

Game 1 is tomorrow, I can't wait! I'm just glad it's not an early Sunday game because the Lakers are historically bad in the early games. They've had some time to rest their injuries and should be ready for the game. :jam2:

As a musician, I was taught to "warm-down" after playing so as to take the best care of the muscles. I imagine athletes are taught the same thing. Playing the Pistons is the Lakers' warm-down. :man1:

MY PISTONS WILL BE READY

Postby MoTown_3 on Sat Jun 05, 2004 9:47 pm

YOU GUYS JUST THINK THAT WE WILL GET DOWN AND HAND YOU THE CHAMPIONSHIP. NO MAN THAT AIN'T HOW IT GOES HERE. YOU CAN WUTEVER THE HELL YOU WANT ABOUT OUR SCORING BUT WHERE'S GOING TO BE YOUR ANSWER TO OUR DEFENSE? KOBE WILL NOT BE THAT EFFECTIVE BECAUSE HE WILL BE EXHAUSTED CHASING AFTER RIP. AND ON THE OFFENSE, PRINCE WILL SHUT HIM DOWN LIKE HE DID TO T-MAC AND IVERSON. SHAQ WILL PROBABLY BE OUR ONLY CONCERN JUST BECAUSE HE IS THE REFS BEST FRIEND. ANYTIME HE GETS TOUCHED THEY WILL CALL A FOUL.

WELL WE SHALL SEE TOMOROW. BUT DUNT COUNT MY PISTONS OUT. THEY WILL BE READY AND YOU CAN COUNT ON THAT. REMEMBER NO EXCUSES.

Guess what guys, I did player matchups for this series, they are back and better than ever. The matchups are in my new editorial, so, be sure to go check them out. I would post them here, but they are quite lengthy. They are towards the end of my editorial. Enjoy.

Prince did not shut down Kobe in the games during the year, that's all that matters. Our answer to your defense is our offense. If we can put up numbers against the Rockets/Spurs, then we will have no problems putting up numbers against the Pistons. You think Kobe will be exhausted? Laugh. Shaq is the refs' best friend? You obviously don't watch many Lakers games.

I've already counted your Pistons out because they don't have the offense to beat the Lakers.

I expect detroit to try to disrupt the laker team by being more physical ( like the badboys) we may see a whole lot of hustle and energy from the pistons who have everything to gain as underdogs... I think the Lakers will be challenged in the first game, i see the Lakers winning the game

Lakers 85
Pistons 80

I feel Phil will make proper adjustments and we'll win this thing in five games.

I expect GM 1 WIN for La
Game 2 WIN for la
Game 3 WIN for la
Game 4 LOSS for la
Game 5 WINNERS for la
Todays minimum is yesterdays maximum!

I'm getting very nervous/hyped. I really hope the Lakers come out with a lot of energy and jump on them early. And we are going to need George to be huge in this series. He needs to make his open shots.
