this is Shaq's game. He is showing why he is the MDE. He is proving the Wallace's are no match for him. Wasn't this series supposed to be tough on Shaq? Oh, well. And he's making his free throws.

Man, I wish we were playing the pacers at this point. I"m sorry to sound so retarted and mad, but my god, we are really playing bad. If it wasn't for Shaq we would be down 12-0. We really need to pick up the intensity. Looks too much like game 6 vs teh puppies. Come on Lakers, this is the Finals!

So far it looks like Pistons defense is getting to us. Better find a way to get around it.

That was a sweet bucket by Devean, I think it surprised him that it went in!

Shaq's and 1 was nice, plus it give Sheed his 2nd foul. Shaq is playing the best I have seen him play all year. He has 10 points & 4 rebounds already. If he continues to play this well, he will get Finals MVP.

Kobe did a good job of not letting Price block that shot, he had good position for the block.

I like your sig, pltan.

You should be worried. We played like royal trash that quarter. IF we don't pick up our intensity and execute better on offense we will be the ones getting swept. We always come out this way to start games, we just expect the other team to roll over and die. :mad1: :mad1:

It's game 1. All teams are usually rusty, when you play a team that has a different style of game.

I am glad we don't have to worry about Ben Wallace scoring, that makes things easier on Shaq. Big Ben is one of the worst scoring starting centers in the league. It's odd a player can be so good at defense (in the East) and airball one shot and badly miss a reverse layup. It's kind of funny. :man10:

I'm not. I think the guys are just feeling Detroit out at this point. Of course they are making shots at the moment, but how many buckets have the Pistons blown as well? And for the percent that they're making, you know that trend won't carry for 3 more quarters. Also, don't forget.. we had a whole day extra off then Detroit. May just be some rust that needs to be blown off some of our players.

I don't see why yall are worried, we are rusty. This has happened before. As long as we are up or barely down we are fine. We will be rust free by the start of the third quarter.

You're welcome. The mods will make you modify it, though. The rule is max 468 x 60, yours is 250 x 70.

I'm not worried about them because it's very early. Forty-eight minutes is a long time, the teams are still feeling each other out. They've starting out soft but are getting warmed up.

PJ needs to change the tempo of this game to our favor. ITs freakin 27-25 with 8:00 left in the half. That should be a 1st qaurter score, come on guys, this is the freakin west. Wake the F up and play your damn basketball the right way. We look like total Sh**!
