There is only WIN nothing else!!!!
I agree that Payton must be involved the game.
DG and Fisher must make their shoting percentage better.
I don`t know weather Malone plays game4, Shaq and Malone have to occupy more offencive or deffencive rebounds.
They have been stolen their rebounds by Rasheed and Ven.
And Kobe should escape from Prince`s deffence and he should make chances for other players.

Well Payton assured in an interview that the team, especially Shaq and Kobe, will never play another horrible game again. They addressed that the issue is more of execution and not having the poise and be pushed around by the Pistons D.

Game 4 should be different for us. No more of this BS touch foul calls, no more being outhustled on the glass. Shaq's gotta eat up the boards, have a huge first half, and hand it off to Kobe to finish this pesky Detroit team in the 2nd half.

GO LAKERS GO!!!! IT'S PAYBACK TIME!!! :jam2:

We won't know until tomorrow night. I wish they would release who will be officiating each game in advance, so each team would know what to expect.

If Payton keeps up the good work for Detroit, they will win Game 4 and the series.

Prediction:

Lakers 92 Pistons 88 and Payton has a break out game...hopefully :mhihi:

is it destiny for the pistons, will the Lakers suffer the biggest defeat in NBA history? What will Kobe, Malone, Shaq, and Payton do about it? Who will arise and be the hero. Will Larry Brown finally get his ring. What will happen to the Lakers in the offseason, will kobe stay? What about Phil and the other players. Will the finals be Malones last series? All these questions will be answered with game 4, if we win game 4, we win the series, if not, i think we're done for. What will the Lakers do about it, it's their series, the outcome lies in their hands. It's not Detroits defense that will win the series, it's the Lakers effort and gameplan.

lakers muz take this game...it's very important...if they take this game n lose game 5...they're down 2-3 but they got back the homecourt advantage so they still got a chance 2 grab da ring...and kobe n shaq is da key wheter lakers winz or lose...this two muz break detroit offense n show them how strong is da triangle offense...malone and payton realyy muz wake up...i kno malone hurt his leg but i wish hes championship will heat him up n play good offense n defense against da piston...Rush n Fisher is also a big factor...they muz drop bombs from downtown so lakers can score more!!

GO LAKERS!! :jam2:

some stuff lakers need to do in order to win:
They need to get rebounds
both off and def!
they need to get shots that they used to get in the SA and MIN series
they meed to get GP off in a hurry, if we can get him like 10 points in the first half, that chauncey billups guy will be tired, meaning he wont be able to be productive on off
george needs to hit those open shots
everyone needs to get to the ft line
and finally ( this is for PJ )
DONT PUT 2 rookies in at the same time
DONT take all of ur HOF out

Here's an idea. What about the experience? What about poise? What about the veterans?

Get Fox in there, he may not shoot worth a damn due to his injury, but he'll get the ball in there.

If I was Phil:

- Fisher
- Kobe
- Fox
- Malone/Walton/Slava (no order, although I would like to see Malone sit)
- Shaquille

Get your veterans in there, put Payton on the bench, that should be enough for him to come off and give us a good game. We need the experience at this point...

It's war now, BLOODY SUNDAY.

Shaq needs to get the ball more, get a lot more rebounds, and help out on the pick-and-roll. He's got to dominate, no one on the Pistons can guard him.

I agree. One problem is when Shaq did get the ball, he got horrible position, most of the passes were very bad. They gave it to his wrong hand, where Big Ben was ready to steal it or they gave it to him out of position, so he had to force a jump hook and couldn't back down. That is something they have to work on. I suggest have Luke on the court for every minute Shaq is, that way he is ensured to get a good pass.

Exactly. Shaq may have been joking at the press conference, but he was right when he said that Luke is better at giving him the ball than the other Lakers. I hope Luke doesn't get in foul trouble so he can be effective like he was in Game 2.

Well, a starting lineup change might happen by tonight. One that will see the 5 remaining players from who's been there since the 2000 championship: Shaq, Kobe, Fox, George, Fisher.

Check out the article here

Hopefully Phil gives it a try.

Well, the point I'm trying to make and the players is that all 5 of them have been together and know how to execute the triangle very well. This could give us an early boost in the game, especially with Malone's injury and Payton who we all know still don't know how to play the triangle that well (and is stubborn enough to admit to it).
