The game shouldn't have been this close, but the Lakers won, and that's all that counts. And Dooling missing the last shot was sweet! Take that, Clips. :jam2:

Yes, but I can't believe no one has brought this up.

Kobe and Karl were on the sidelines, but where was Shaq?

Think about that...

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Shaq's post-game comments:

"We're going to have to go through a lot of trials and tribulations this year, but it's only going to make us an excellent and closer team,'' said O'Neal, who has missed 10 games with a strained right calf. "Any villain can beat super heroes when Superman is not around."

"But Superman will be back. I'll be back.''

yea we can only hope shaq was in tha trainer's room...

u knwo what...we're 2-0 now when karl malone is sitting on tha bench...remember tha game against boston? that was tha only other game hes been on tha bench....i think karl needs to be there he provides inspiration both on and off tha court!

and did anyone see tha tape of kobe shooting free throws with his LEFT HAND? he was making them! that shows TRUE HEART and DETERMINATION to get back ASAP! man we wont find another player like kobe if we let him go! Can u imagine t-mac dion that? HELL NO!

The same guy who had a "block" (cough: goal tend) to help the Crappers win the first game missed the shot to help them win, thats what I loved the most about that game.

Yeah, someone should see if B.D.G. could upload the clip of Kobe shooting free throws with his left hand. That's called heart.
