Lamar is a BEAST

I havent seen the Lakers play this well all seaosn long.

This game is a good reminder we have some really good players who can be effective....if they are utilized. I doubt Kobe's taking too much from this game aside from "good job guys" but I hope he realizes that being as ball-dominant as he has been this season is ridiculous and not the best way to run the team.

One more thing, not sure if anyone's noticed but Shannon has gotten a lot more trigger happy this year after getting that contract. Last year he wasn't taking shots out of the offense, not forcing anything, not trying to dribble too much. This year he's doing all of that. As crazy as it sounds, it may be a bad thing that he feels total security now after being signed to an extension.

Can we get Lamar to teach Bynum how to rebound?

So can we say that Fisher wasn't really the problem on defense? It's up to the bigs (I'm looking at you, Bynum) to control the paint and rebound.

i think it's too early to say shannon is out of control. he helps more than he hurts the team and from what i see, his play actually helps this team that often has no energy and aggressiveness.

we rarely see penetration from a guard anymore (fish, even farmar to some extent) and it's refreshing to see some difference.
