The funny thing is that this game is gonna give Miami a false sense of being great. Lakers just got worked by the Bucks. Beating the Lakers is no great feat. But of course ESPN will crown them the Champs and completely unbeatable.

No it's not the same at all. The Lakers weren't losing to scrub teams ontop of the leagues best like they are this season.

Look at the season before ... yes they were, e.g., Clippers (2x), Toronto, Memphis, Charlotte, and NO.

2008-09 Season: Indiana, Detroit, Sacramento, Philly, etc.

The Lakers only started out the season with a decent record because of the bench players insane out of this world #'s. Barnes/Blake/Brown lit up all the teams they faced. As soon as they stopped and came back to earth this team has sucked horribly. Our whole starting line up has major issues, Odom being the only one who's really been consistant.

Kobe on his stats line looks fine but it's a mirage. There is no more 'greatest closer in the game'. He rarely finishes strong at all anymore. Not always his fault either the team isn't helping him at all. They went to that gift horse way too many times, Gasol looks beat Kobe looks old and confused.

I don't think it's been a secret that the only team that could beat the Lakers was themselves and they're kicking their butt hardcore. They need some desire and heart ASAP or it's a long loss infested trip to the playoffs without HMA.

I didn't watch the game. Saw this coming a mile away. Lebron and Wade always play harder when they play against Kobe -- they have more to prove. After all, the main reason they joined together was to stop Kobe from getting his 6th. They know if he does, they will always be in his shadow, no matter what they do.

that said, the Lakers are a lost team. No passion. No pride. Two double digit blow out, AT HOME, back to back, even with several days in between. Phil is not getting anything from them. Ron and Fish look almost done, and Kobe's loss of speed and explosion prevents him from closing like he used to.

It is like when the Lakers beat the Celtics two years ago. the other teams are hungrier for the title. Spurs, Mavs, Celtics, and Heat all want it more.

Passion aside, the Lakers are out of whack. They struggle to score 85 points now. WHY?
