Kobe needs to get healthy, become more consistent, but he hit the game winner in two of three games now.

A ton. I haven't watched Turiaf since he left the Lakers, but Ronny came up with a bunch of key blocks in the short time he was with us.

i don t celebrate this win. i take that no doubt but i don t celebrate or even beeing happy over it. it was one of the worst game played no correction it was in my opinion the worst game lakers played this season.they didn t deserved that win like they played tonight but i take . lakers stole one from new orleans. enough said . that is the last i will say about this awful and bad game. i am still mad and pissed over that game but in the end i take that game as a win and move on. like i said i wouldn t do any comments about this game anymore. enough said see ya tommorrow night

Man Kobe had some great looks today..missed a buncha easy shots he normally drains....not a lot of isos either, just running off screens and shooting

This game pissed me off. I was so worried we was going to lose 3 in a row especially to the Hornets. Yes Kobe had the "game winner" but we shouldn't have even been in that position. Kobe put us in that position and that has to stop. Andrew Goudlock(sp?) could have did better than 3-20.

why I blame mike for everything.....this is the reason- bynum 10 shots,gasol 14 shots, kobe 21 shot...and thats the reason why he is lost this team.......bynum 20 shots, gasol 18, kobe 12 and we would win by 20+.... we have bighead moron as our coach...so bad

You don't sit yourself down. Your job is to play and do your best. It's your coach's job to see that he's tired and find rest for him.

Can't say I agree with that shot distribution. You can't put a set number on points or attempts.

You'd of thought after the loss to the Jazz, it'd of been a wakeup call... then after we almost blow it to Golden State, we would of took it to OKC for 48 minutues, then you'd think after falling asleep on the Thunder after we had them on the ropes being up 14 and couldn't finish 48 minutes of basketball, we'd take it out on the lowly Hornets without Gordon, Ariza, and Landry and absolutely put the sludge hammer on....

if we can't figure out we aren't good enough to take plays off anymore, we are going nowhere.

Some of these players, Kobe, Bynum and Gasol in particular, still think this is 2009 or 2010 when we could take half the game off and still be good enough to win.


We aren't......... we can contend, we can beat ANYONE in a 7 game series, and that's the truth. But in order to do so, we have little room for error. We must play a full 48 minute game, Blake and Barnes need to be consistent off the bench, Kobe needs to shoot better, Gasol and Bynum need to be in attack mode all the way.... if that happens, and if they can figure that out, we can do great things.

We can't beat anyone in a 7 game series? I'd say we can easily beat 20 teams. And after that it's not so easy, but we would probably be favorites against half of the remaining teams. I think you're weighting our recent play a bit too heavily. Brand new PG, strike shortened season. I think we need to watch this team for the next few weeks and see what happens before jumping to conclusions.

unless you can beat 29 other teams in a 7 game series, it really doesn't matter whether you can beat 5, 10, 20 or 27. At least not for the Lakers.

they need to turn attitude completely if they want to do anything in PO....this cant work in PO series.....so I only can hope they waiting for PO to start playing defense and playing with heart and right attitude....but one thing i dont understand is why Clown dont use other players and rest team completely...use ebanks, put hill in the game, give glock 10 min, give kobe 30 min at most....if you want to play season just to finish this 66 games....and then be ready for the PO
