Not with a squad that regularly struggles to break 85 points per game.

49 bench points for the Jazz. :bang:

Yet as I watched him Monday, I could not help think how little it mattered and how right he is. He is not fading into the shadows. He does not know how to go out that way.[.]

This team is average at best.

What does an 85 million dollar payroll buy you? One man that can shoot a basketball. It's almost funny.

Considering that we are not very good on the road...I dont think having a spot in the 5 thru 8 positions is going to be all that fruitful.

We've yet to start playing our best basketball. Remember, we don't even have Blake in the rotation right now. I'm not saying he's the cure-all, but he will help the bench execute a lot better than morris or glock can.

It's not that they don't care. They just cannot shoot the ball. It drains your energy after awhile.

Brown needed to keep his cool. It was a bad no call, but getting thrown out didn't help us at all.

While I understand MIke's anger over the unfair ref treatment both in this game and in the Denver game. Getting pissed off and yelling is what fans do. Not coaches.

He may have thought that getting thrown out may have lit a fire under the squad ( not sure how that works but coaches to seem to do that in sports ). After taking the game last night, I guess it was worth a risk on a back to back.

We'll be playing on the road at some point no matter what. For sure during the WCF and Finals. If we can't beat the teams in round 1 and 2 on the road, then I've lost all faith in this team.

thanks again mike brown . are you a rookie coach or what ? yeah looked like a foul but again you can t act like mike brown after that . kobe also very disappointing performance with too many stupid shots espicially from three point land. second unit is crap. please front office do something. fisher is over , that is my opinion in some games he could do something but most of the games he can t do it any more.please someone tells kobe that he also has go to the basket instead off jacking up so much jumpshots.

The bench points stat is pretty meaningless. It's just a measure of how deep your rotation is. The Lakers play a lot of mixed lineups.

The Lakers problem isn't the bench so much as it is the lack of a quality point guard and a lack of decent outside shooting.

They should. This team is going no where.

It was still close. Getting thrown out just added two more pts to that. I can understand the frustration after last night, and then a another night of uncalled hacks....but you have to keep it together.
