Hey guys...I'm at the game tonight and two things..ATT's coverage in Dallas sucks and Kobe's ankle didn't look good. I'm 9 rows up near the Lakers bench and I heard them talking about a "high ankle sprain"....

I thought Cardinal retired like 5 years ago.

Yeah, it's just ridiculously embarrassing homer commentary. Misinformed, ignorant.. You can tell Joel and Stu are happier when the Lakers are winning so they're biased to a degree, but they certainly keep it more professional and bearable for other fans than most homer commentators

Joel and Stu are the two most professional guys in the league. They do get happier when the Lakers are winning, as they should. This garbage tonight is terrible. Ortegel was fired, in part, because he wasn't a homer and wouldn't make the inane statements that this group is making tonight. He was a former coach (Recruited Brian Cook's dad once upon a time.) and he was a professional no matter who the Mavs were playing.
